I had an accident on November 27 2022, A cut near my right hand wrist and later I had stitches on it now my last two fingers are not working properly
Male | 22
Consult an orthopedist soon if you're experiencing reduced function in your fingers after a wrist injury and stitches. The cause of your symptoms may be nerve damage or reduced blood flow to the affected area, which results from certain types of injuries or surgical procedures.

I have back ache problem from 2 days
Male | 51
Back pain has been bothering you recently. This ache can stem from strained muscles, bad posture, or prolonged sitting. Having occasional back discomfort is normal. To ease the pain, try gentle stretches, take breaks to move around, or use ice/heat packs. However, if the pain persists or intensifies, consult an orthopedist.

Ankle swelling no pain But all time swelling
Female | 49
Painless ankle swelling may come from fluid buildup or poor blood flow. Our bodies retain too much water at times. Blood circulation issues in legs can also cause swelling. Raising your legs and cutting salt may help. But if swelling remains, see an orthopedist for evaluation.

I'm 28 an my legs pain stinging pain everytime I get up from sleep a stinging pain knees pain
Male | 28
Experiencing stinging discomfort in your knees after waking can stem from various factors such as inflammation, tendon issues, or even posture during sleep. It’s essential to assess your sleeping position and ensure proper support for your legs and knees. Incorporating gentle stretching or low-impact exercises into your routine may alleviate tension and improve flexibility. Additionally, maintaining a healthy weight can reduce stress on your joints. If these symptoms persist, I recommend consulting an orthopedist for a thorough evaluation.

Iam Indian expact living in UAE
Male | 35
It appears you are really in pain and it is sharp in your lower back, not only when moving and changing your posture. Back pain can come from several reasons, such as muscle strain, bad posture, or serious diseases like herniated discs. One way to reduce discomfort is by using hot/cold therapy or pilates and yoga. Maintain good posture and do not carry a heavy load. However, given the acute flare-up and the intolerance to physical activity, you should see an orthopedist who will give you a proper treatment plan.

I am 20 year old female. I have recurring back pain in my lower back since last 3 months. Its gets triggered after I do cleaning work or lifting weights. The pain has shifted to the side of my hip since last 2 days. What should I do?
Female | 20
It's important to address your recurring lower back pain, especially since it's now affecting your hip area. These symptoms could indicate a musculoskeletal issue or a possible strain. I recommend consulting an orthopedic specialist or a physiotherapist. They can evaluate your condition, suggest appropriate exercises or treatments, and provide guidance on managing and preventing further discomfort.

Male | 37
The condition you are experiencing could be sciatica. Sciatica is caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve in your leg. This can result in pain and discomfort in the thigh and make it difficult to walk or sit. You can do some gentle stretching exercises, apply cold packs, and rest. If the pain continues, consult an orthopedic specialist.

my toe nail got ripped off im using bandage on it should i avoid bandage to leave it open ?
Male | 20
A toenail injury sounds unpleasant. Ripping off a nail may lead to pain and bleeding. Bandaging helps keep the area clean, or leaving it uncovered if bleeding is minimal. Cleanliness prevents infection. However, if severe pain, redness, or swelling occurs, seeking medical attention is wise.

Hi, I undertand that everyone has paired nasal bones. Is it possible to break one side withiut harming the other? Or is pain on one side after an injury more likely to be a soft tissue injury? Thanks
Male | 25
It's possible to sustain an injury affecting one side of your nasal structure without impacting the opposite side. Pain localized to one area following trauma often suggests a soft tissue issue, such as swelling or bruising, rather than a fracture. However, if there is significant discomfort, difficulty breathing, or visible deformity, it's wise to seek an evaluation from an orthopedist. They can provide appropriate imaging and ensure a proper diagnosis.

My knees keep popping every tine I move it I am afraid
Male | 43
If your knees keep popping every time you move them, it could be due to ligament issues, arthritis, or even a simple gas buildup in the joint. It's best to visit an orthopedic doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Ignoring it might lead to more complications, so please consult a specialist soon.

You have this heaviness in the area of your left collarbone muscles with little dizziness and numbness in your hands. These symptoms may be a pinched nerve, muscle strain, or even problems with your heart. Sir Mera knee dislocated hua hai or mujhe 1 month ka plaster lga hai to Mera question ye hai ki.plaster remove hone ke Kitna din bad me chl sakhti hun or Kitna drd rhega actually mere exam or aare hai to isliye
Female | 19
When the plaster is off, you should wait for about 2 to 4 weeks before walking normally. The first few days can be a little uncomfortable, but this is a common thing. Just relax and do short walks at first to strengthen your muscles. Getting your body to heal naturally is crucial so don't push yourself. If you have any severe pain or trouble walking, tell your orthopedist straight away.

i am 25 year old female and have backache for last 2 months. I have used pain relief ointment cream for couple of days but haven't got any relief. What should i do now?
Female | 24
I would advise you to see an orthopedist for your backache. It is also possible that relief cream will not be effective in the future if the root cause of the pain is not treated. Orthopedic specialist will be capable of identifying the cause of your backache and offer suitable treatment options.

Hi, Im a 40 year old female. i have alot of pain in my heels, which is almost unbearable now and im seeking help in regards to that. i dont know if this is related to the pain , but i have Psoriasis and got treated for it around 5 years ago, and get checkups once in a year. i think the pain might be somewhat related to Psoriasis as it is right over my heels. hope someone understands the root cause of this and helps me.
Female | 40
Your heel discomfort troubles me. Heel agony may stem from Psoriatic Arthritis, a Psoriasis-linked disorder. This condition inflames joints, causing aches and swells. Neglecting it risks permanent harm. Thus, consulting a Rheumatologist is crucial for proper assessment and therapy. They'll prescribe medicines and suggest exercises to alleviate your suffering.

I m 65 year old, I have pain in my leg very much. I have 3 wall in my veins because of blockage. But my leg pain is very heavy. what can i do
Female | 65
This could be the result of an insufficient blood flow. The symptoms may also include coughing, breathing difficulties, shortness of breath, and chest pain, especially when exercising. Leg lifting, regular workouts, and wearing compression stockings may play a big role in the control of other health problems such as high blood pressure or diabetes. Discuss with the orthopedist the most suitable alternatives to relieve your leg pain.

I'm 25 years age. I have several issues some of them from my childhood and some of them are from 15 age. I have back pain. Back muscles are usually very tight. Plus I have right shoulder pain right knee pain right feet pain. And tremor in my both hands from childhood. I have one small eye and one comparatively large eye. Have asymetric eyes. And I have tight pelvic floor. Whenever I sleep on right side bladder leaks at night in the bed. But when I sleep on the left side it doesn't happen at all. From past 3 4 days I have pain under my eyes.
Male | 25
It sounds like you have multiple health issues that need attention. For your back, shoulder, knee, and feet pain, as well as tight muscles and tremors, it is best to see an orthopedic doctor. The asymmetry in your eyes and recent pain under your eyes should be checked by an ophthalmologist. For pelvic floor tightness and bladder issues, a visit to a urologist is recommended.
