Why Do I Have Inner Thigh Pain?
I have inner thigh pain
Orthopaedic Surgery
Answered on 18th June '24
The involvement in a thigh muscle can be separated from the skin, a sensation like tingling, aching in the hips, or a soreness in the groin developing a tear that causes discomfort but is usually not serious. The typical culprits are muscle strain caused by overwork or swift movement. It could also be the result of minor injuries or skin inflammation. Have some rest and apply ice to the inflamed area while at the same time, stretching the area slowly. If any discomfort continues or intensifies, discuss the matter with an orthopedist.

I felt a pop in my chest and it took my breath away and now I have swelling under my arm
Male | 32
You might have had a pneumothorax, which happens when air gets into the space between your lung and chest wall. This can occur with a sudden chest injury or the rupture of a tiny air sac. The swelling in your armpit could be connected to this. To receive appropriate care which may include releasing pressurized air by draining it out to facilitate lung expansion.

I'm 33yrs old ..I'm female.. I have lower back pain from evening today it's mild heavy can't do my work and sit.. My last lmpis nov 7.
Female | 33
So, it seems that you are going through some slight discomfort in the lower part of your back, which can be caused by things like muscle strain, wrong position sitting, or too much psychological pressure. To get rid of your suffering, you can use a warm pad on the affected area, stretching gently, and also correcting your body posture so you sit down correctly. Activities that keep you in motion while serving your comfort limit are also suitable. On the other hand, if the pain persists or even gets worse, I would suggest making an appointment with an orthopedist to identify and exclude any underlying problems.

Your ankle discomfort is unfortunate. Sprains, strains, or arthritis might cause ankle pain. Here's R.I.C.E to ease it: rest, apply ice, compress with a bandage, and elevate your leg. Over-the-counter pain relievers may also help. If the pain persists, don't hesitate to consult an orthopedist.

my toe nail got ripped off im using bandage on it should i avoid bandage to leave it open ?
Male | 20
A toenail injury sounds unpleasant. Ripping off a nail may lead to pain and bleeding. Bandaging helps keep the area clean, or leaving it uncovered if bleeding is minimal. Cleanliness prevents infection. However, if severe pain, redness, or swelling occurs, seeking medical attention is wise.

Foot got twist and now its swelling need medicine name
Male | 35
You might have twisted or sprained your foot. Swelling is part of your body's natural selection to help the hurting area. You are likely to reduce the pain and swelling by taking over-the-counter drugs like ibuprofen. Do not forget to rest the foot, elevate it, and apply ice. If the pain is increasing or there's no improvement, examine an orthopedist for more information.

I rolled my ankle really bad 4 weeks ago almost 5. I still have inflamation and soreness, and pain. my briuises are gone but still hurts. and i have not been to a doctor.
Female | 14
You’ve sprained your ankle, and it may still be causing inflammation, soreness, and pain weeks after the injury. A sprain happens when the ligaments are stretched or torn, leading to pain and swelling. Rest your ankle, ice it, elevate it, and consider using a compression bandage. If it doesn’t improve, it’s best to see an orthopedist for advice.

Hello, I had a pain in my right side since last Tuesday night. I went to the urgent care and they did bloodwork, urine sample, and examined me. She said she think it’s a pulled muscle. I still have the pain. It radiates down my leg too
Female | 21
You may have a muscle strain or herniation in the lumbar region of the spine. My advice would be that you have to opt for an orthopedic specialist or a neurosurgeon for a final diagnosis. The doctor can suggest an imaging test such as an MRI or CT scan.

You may have an issue where your shinbone bends. Sometimes, this impacts height growth. You might notice your legs appearing unequal in size, or feeling pain. A disorder affecting growth could be the reason. An orthopedic specialist can recommend exercises or braces to address the curve and track your development.

My mother is 55 years old. A little obesity. She got her surgery for Haglund deformity causing Achilles tendonitis. After two weeks the suture was removed. Till that time she was on antibiotics and antimicrobial treatment alongwith calcium and pain killer. But now it's been 3-4 weeks post surgery . The post surgical site is black and I don't feel like it's healing. What to do?
Female | 55
It is recommended to go to the orthopedic surgeon who performed the operation and get the area examined. The black color could mean an infection or poor healing. It is necessary to have it diagnosed to take the treatment appropriately.

There is a bony protrusion on my right metatarsal region
Female | 45
You likely have an extra bone growth called a bone spur. It causes a painful bony bump on your right foot's metatarsal area. This happens when you walk or stand. Wear shoes with good support and cushioned insoles. This should help ease discomfort. However, if pain persists, see an orthopedist.

When can i eat chips after jaw surgery?
Male | 34
Since the treatment of jaw surgery, solid as well as crunchy foods similar to chips will be reintroduced into your diet after a period based on how fast you heal. Generally speaking it’s a good idea to start with soft or liquid diet right after the surgery and progressively move up towards firmer consistencies as your doctor recommends. In the first phase, crunchy foods are avoided for several weeks in order to let the jaw heal without putting it under additional strain. Stick to the particular dietary recommendations given by your surgeon, in order for a smooth recovery process.
