You may have an issue where your shinbone bends. Sometimes, this impacts height growth. You might notice your legs appearing unequal in size, or feeling pain. A disorder affecting growth could be the reason. An orthopedic specialist can recommend exercises or braces to address the curve and track your development.

I am Rahat Ullah from Mardan. Before 2.5 months I have accident on bike with Suzuki my bones were fracture tibia and fibula bone.now my foot upper side skin has deep wound and now that place has pain and swelling please recommend a cream for me.
Male | 23
The symptoms you're describing, including a deep wound and discomfort, may suggest an infection or improper healing after your fracture. It’s crucial to keep the area clean and dry. I recommend using a topical antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection, but please consult your orthopedist for a prescription that suits your specific needs. They can provide a thorough evaluation and ensure your recovery progresses smoothly.

Pain in buttock continuously, like irritation, sometime when I sit suddenly pain starts and also pain in poo.
Male | 19
You might be encountering something known as sciatica. The sciatic nerve becomes compressed and causes pain from your lower back down through your buttocks into one or both legs. Sometimes sitting for too long or sudden movements can trigger this. You can try doing some gentle stretches, not sitting down all day, and using heat packs on the area that hurts. If nothing changes after doing these things then it would be best to go see an orthopedic.

The toe might be painful, swollen, bruised, or hard to move, which are all the symptoms of a toe injury. To accelerate the recovery process, you may rest, put ice to the swollen area, lift your foot, and use analgesics by mouth if necessary. If pain persists do consult an orthopedist.

1st Metatarsal bone fracture
Male | 26
A first metatarsal fracture may manifest itself in the form of pain and swelling, as well as walking difficulties. This kind of damage more often than not stems from physical traumas or overuse, especially in athletes. Normally, treatment is achieved using rest, ice, compression, and elevation to reduce swelling. An orthopedist might prescribe supportive shoes or a walking cast to keep the foot stable while healing. It’s very important not to do anything that could make things worse.

Why is that my waist right side is paining me that I even find it difficult to walk and I can't even stand straight but when I touch my waist I can't feel any pain but I'm rather feeling It inside me making it difficult for me to walk and I can't even stand straight
Male | 20
You may be having muscle pain on your right side. This can happen when you use your muscles too much or twist them in that part of your body. Even though it's not painful to the touch, the discomfort in your body is causing you to walk awkwardly and to stand upright. Resting, applying ice, and gentle stretching will help lessen the pain. If it doesn't improve, it's best to get the advice of a orthopedist.

I am 15 years old and have had a knee injury for 11 months . It started out as a meniscus injury and that has gotten better. According to my most recent MRI, I have edema , synovitis, and slight injuries to my ligaments. It doesn’t sound severe, but I have difficulty walking normally, and it often cracks, which makes it deteriorate. Also, because of the long duration,my muscles have muscle atrophy. My question is: What do the cracks mean(are they fine or not), and what should I do to recover? Thanks.
Male | 15
Crackling from your knee is fostered by harsh surfaces or air bubbles. Although it’s perfectly normal at times, it could signify a problem if pain or swelling accompanies the snaps. For recovery, gentle exercises along with physical therapy will not only strengthen supporting muscles, leading to better knee stability. Be cautious while moving be sure to stay away from activities that may exacerbate this popping sound. You can also visit an orthopedist.

Due to a car accident a while back, I've been wearing diapers for an extended period because of my mobility issues. I don't currently have incontinence issues, but my reliance on diapers has made me wonder about the long-term effects. My primary concern is whether this extended use of diapers, even without incontinence, might eventually lead to total incontinence. I would greatly appreciate your insights or any information you can provide on this matter.
Male | 23
Prolonged diaper use may cause a number of health problems including urinary tract infections, skin rashes and discomfort.

I have swelling in my right knee
Male | 26
Your knee can get swollen and the image may be affected by injury, arthritis, or inflammation. Pain, stiffness, and heat around the area are common symptoms. Get relief by taking the calf rest, using the ice, and elevating your leg. Over-the-counter painkillers can be useful in shrinking along with other medications. Resting for a period with some easy physical activities will even speed up the process of healing. By contrast, if the swelling persists, exacerbates the problem, or shows also other symptoms then you are recommended to consult an orthopedist.

Hi, I fell over and hurt my ankle 3 weeks ago. It is still swollen. I can walk on it without pain but have pain after when I sit down just wondering if I should seek medical attention h have been ice rest elevation and compression it
Female | 20
Caring for your ankle by icing, resting, elevating, and compressing is wise. However, swelling lasting 3 weeks raises concern. Walking pain-free is positive, yet sitting discomfort hints at lingering issues. Consult an orthopedist to rule out serious problems. Meanwhile, continue icing, resting and elevating.

I have been having joint pain in my legs for the past 5-6 years, but it is getting worse now. Uric acid in my blood test. It gradually gets better after taking painkillers. I was taking Fabusin 40 once for a month. It happened again after three months. What can be done? My body is itching more or less at night.
Male | 50
It's understandable to be concerned about your worsening leg discomfort that has persisted for several years. Elevated uric acid levels can lead to conditions like gout, which may contribute to joint pain. It’s good that pain relief is achieved with medications. Consider discussing with an orthopedist about adjusting your treatment, possibly re-evaluating medications like Fabusin, and exploring lifestyle changes, such as dietary adjustments to lower uric acid. The itching at night may require further investigation. Regular check-ups are essential for appropriate management.
