When a person has schizophrenia, he/she can undergo experiences like hearing voices or having strange beliefs. The causes might be; their own to the genes and/or the surrounding factors that affect people. Therapy and medicine can be used to help people control their symptoms as well as make their lives better. Speak frankly to a doctor or therapist to get help.

I am 24 Year old male. Recently my dad passed away. I felt sick one night and went to hospital and they diagnosed me as anxiety disorder. I stopped the medication for one day and feeling fine but just now I’m feeling the symptoms again but I had a few sip of beer beforehand so I’m wondering if I should still take meds to help with my symptoms or I should not take meds? The medication is Ativan
Male | 24
Restlessness, increased heart rate, and trouble with concentration are some of the most common symptoms that anxiety can cause. Alcohol can mix with drugs such as Ativan and the patient might suffer severe side effects. The primary rule is to get advice from your doctor before starting any treatment of any kind, especially after a shot of alcohol. They will provide you with advice that suits you. Apart from that, always put your mental health first, and with the help of a professional, you can learn to handle these emotions.

The tension can lower energy levels leading to tiredness. Factors such as poor nutrition, dehydration, or lack of sleep, might also cause it. I suggest having a balanced diet filled with vitamins and minerals, drinking enough water, and making sure you sleep well with proper rest. Doing some light exercise can also give the energy you need. In the event of persistent fatigue, it is necessary to go back to the healthcare provider and say what evaluations or treatments may be made.

Male | 24
Based on what you’ve said, your weight loss, sadness, tenseness, and nervousness could be symptoms of chronic stress. When we experience stress for a long time, it affects our minds and our body. You should try to take it easy and find some ways to cope with stress — for example, deep breathing exercises, confiding in a friend, or doing something fun. If things don’t get better, think about talking to a psychiatrist or counselor.

I'm 21 years old and I feel so low and sometimes I feel very stressed and after stressing about thing I fell difficulty in sleeping I did a online depression test and it shows like I have high depression
Female | 21
Being sad and stressed out at your age is a hard situation, but you're not the only one feeling that way. Being sad, nervous, tired, and having difficulty sleeping are among the indicators of depression. Tension can make these experiences even more burdensome. Possible reasons for this could be genes, stress, or life events. Things that can help you improve your mood are talking to a psychiatrist, playing sports, and spending your free time with activities that make you happy.

I feel like something is wrong with me , my mind wanders a lot and when it wanders i feel like i need to move and run and i do it unconsciously its like you run and jump in a dancing kind of way with your head leaning to oneside , can you tell me whats wrong ?
Female | 19
You may have a condition called restless legs syndrome (RLS). RLS sometimes makes you feel your body is moving and dancing with no control, especially when you daydream. Such an issue could arise, and the suer will feel that their legs or other body parts should always be in motion. RLS can happen if you have a low iron level issue, but it can be one of the symptoms of other medical conditions, so it is advisable to see a psychiatrist to get the correct diagnosis and prescription.

Hie I'm ishita I'm 19 yrs old ..so idk why I'm feel anxious continuously nd I feel shivernesss and something in my abdomen nd my chest becomes heavy
Female | 19
It is anxiety that you are facing. This can lead to trembling, palpitation, shortness of breath, and stomach tightness. Try taking deep breaths, talking to someone you trust, and doing activities you enjoy. Drinking water and receiving enough sleep may help, too. It's important to keep reminding yourself that the feelings you have are normal and that the situation may get better eventually.

I can't sleep properly. It's about 2 weeks I am facing this issue.
Female | 26
For the last two weeks, having difficulty getting to sleep or sticking to sleep could be a symptom of insomnia. This can be brought about by stress, worries, or even eating habits. Try setting a bedtime schedule, for example, going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. Say no to the stimulant beverage and technology before night's sleep. If this doesn't help, it's best to speak with your doctor.

I have ocd and I take 100mg of sertraline in the morning and 0.5 mg of clonazepam at night but now I am having difficulty in sleeping at night so can I take 1mg of clonazepam at night, please suggest me.
Male | 30
Poor quality rest might be responsible for experiencing the problem of sleeping. This means that you should be extra careful when attempting to change medications. Clonazepam results in disrupted sleep meaning that increasing the dose doesn't make it better.

He is at risk of developing OCD or schizophrenia. OCD involves unwanted thoughts and fears that lead to repetitive actions, such as excessive cleaning or organizing. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that distorts thoughts, feelings, and behavior, with symptoms like hearing voices or having delusions. Both conditions can be influenced by genetics and environment. OCD is typically treated with therapy and medications, while schizophrenia treatment often includes antipsychotic medications and therapy. It's important to encourage your brother to see his psychiatrist for a check-up and discuss the best treatment options for his symptoms.

I was taken daxid 50 mg tablet .I am feared that tablet side effects.if any problem are effected male sexual hormone level
Male | 19
It is completely understandable to worry about the side effects of a medicine. Male hormone levels can be affected by Daxid 50 mg occasionally. This might lead to symptoms such as low sex drive or difficulty in achieving an erection. The reason for this is that the drug has an impact on serotonin levels in the brain. If you are going through these things, it would be best to talk to your doctor about them.
