How to Stay Awake Without Sleep for Exams
I'm 18 years old. I suffer from severe depression and self harm. I have my exams soon and I just can't sleep. I need to stay awake but even after consuming 2000mg of coffee, i feel like wanting to sleep. Should I eat more coffee?? How can I stay awake for longer periods if coffee isn't going to help.

This happens when your body gets accustomed to it. Instead of more caffeine, try: taking short breaks, stretching your legs, and splashing cold water on your face. Discussing depression and self-harm urges with someone is crucial. Seeking help from a psychiatrist is the best approach to improving well-being and staying alert naturally.

I am 36 years old, doing night shift work tobearn money from last few years, pure veg,no egg ,no fish non drinker non smoker, unable to sleep properly and some time anxiety occurs.
Male | 36
This might be that the night shifts have disturbed your body's internal clock, which can lead to sleeplessness. The lack of sleep can also be a contributing factor to anxiety. Try to make a sleep schedule and stick to it, avoid caffeine and screens before bed, and relax your mind with deep breathing or gentle music before going to sleep.

This can be the result of many things like work stress, problems at school or home, or not caring for yourself. To feel better, try engaging in activities that calm your mind such as deep breathing, talking to someone you trust, or spending time doing something you enjoy. Resting well and eating healthy foods are the two things you should do to keep your body in good shape.

I started feeling anxious and panic, I once lost control on my hand and left side body for 10 minutes. I started feeling mentally inactive, I lost my concentration and interest in my work and life. I was just thinking on the issue and who were behind that, who was/is doing and why? could not feel real me , felt like robot. I was hearing voices of people which was another big trauma for me. I need to clear my mind from these trauma and want to start new fresh life

I recently found out I am pregnant. I am currently on antidepressants (50mg quetiapine, 150m Lamotrigine and 20mg escitalopram) should I be worried about the baby's development. I also had a miscarriage before, what can I do to keep baby healthy, are there recommendations for supplements
Female | 33
Pregnant women should have normal worries when carrying a baby after a miscarriage. The medications you've been prescribed can influence the development of your baby but quitting them too quickly can also be dangerous. This is the reason why it is vital to discuss this with your doctor. To promote your child's health, eat healthy foods and take prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid.

I am a 18 year old female , I’ve been struggling to eat for the past month because I eat small portions and I feel uncomfortable in my own skin as if I can’t take the small portions of food anymore it’s been happening for over a month
Female | 18
When eating small portions makes you uncomfortable, it's important to ask for help. This isn't normal behavior. It could signal anxiety, stomach issues, or an eating disorder. Don't ignore these signs. Trusted friends or family can support you in getting to the root cause. Seeking professional counseling from a psychiatrist may also provide clarity.

Symptoms like heightened worry, restlessness, and difficulty sleeping can arise from trauma. This anxiety can be linked to the body’s natural response to stress. Engaging in calming activities, such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, or light physical activity, may help soothe your mind. Additionally, consider reaching out for support from friends or professionals who can guide you through this process. While distractions from your daughters are beneficial, talking to a therapist specializing in trauma can provide further relief. Remember, seeking professional help is a positive step toward healing.

I've not been getting my periods in have been on risperidone for 1 year since then my periods stopped how long will it take for my periods to resume back
Female | 38
Of some medications, medicines such as risperidone to affect the menstrual cycle is a common thing. The reason might be hormonal or situational changes. It may last for a short or a long time depending on the individual, however, if a person stops taking the drug, the problem may go on for a couple of weeks to several months. I suggest healthy living for metabolization, such as diet regulation and regular physical activity, which might help the body maintain its natural rhythm. It is advised to see your doctor who can provide you with personalized guidance and exclude the existence of any hidden health issues.

I feel a heavy heart, I get nervous while working, I am unable to understand things. To be firm, to sometimes be right, to not be unstable in mind
Male | 26
Experiencing tightness in your chest, jumping around, and becoming nervous while working is usually the result of tension or anxiety, which may cause your concentration to be muddled and leave you feeling incapacitated. To acknowledge and accept these emotions might be one of the most important things you can do. Try self-help techniques such as meditation or mindfulness to destress your mind. Daily physical exercises and a good diet can make you a happier and clearer person. If they continue to occur and get worse, I recommend you talk to your family doctor who will offer you qualified help and guidance.

I am 31 year old living alone abroad. I am working here and going through a phase of getting married. I have had previous short term relationships. My fiance is living in India and will be moving with me after marriage. The biggest struggle these days is getting flashbacks of the good days from previous relationships and not liking many things of my Fiance. Since the recent past, I'm having multiple panic attacks and want to cry (somehow not able to cry). Also, I am getting suicidal thoughts which was never the case before. Sometimes I also imagine completely disappearing and start a life somewhere with new Identity and losing all the contacts with family and friends.

I am 16 years old suffering in this world getting so much difficult for me my boyfriend didi breakup I miss him so much I used to cry all day my headache became more stronger than before I want to overcome form this trauma my life became traumatic
Female | 16
Hormone changes and emotional ups and downs are some of the reasons stress from a breakup can be followed by these symptoms. Firstly, it is very important to share your feelings with someone you can rely on, for example, a family member or friend. Make the most of your time by doing things that you love, meditating, and sleeping. If you are still feeling this way after some time or if they escalate, please, turn to a psychiatrist, who is capable of providing you with the support, that is specifically developed for your needs.
