My Ovaries Not Seen, What's the 107x80mm Mass?

Patient's Query

Recent USG report ovaries: not visualized. a well defined solid sol 107 x 80 mm noted in pelvis towards left adnexa. Doctor keya yea bohut kharab report hey.. kheya kheya karna chahiye aphi?

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

Aapki report mein pelvic area mein ek solid mass dikh raha hai, jo kuch wajah se ho sakta hai, jaise cyst, fibroid, ya infection. Yeh zaroori hai ki aap kisi gynecologist se milkar is baare mein baat karein. Woh aapko additional tests ya imaging recommend kar sakte hain, jisse samajh mein aayega ki yeh kya hai. Aapko kisi bhi discomfort ya symptoms ka bhi khayal rakhna chahiye, jaise pain ya irregular bleeding.

I missed my periods yesterday and took beta HCG blood test today. I turned -ve. Is there any hope for pregnancy few days after?.... Please confirm

Female | 25

Missing a period does not confirm pregnancy, there may be other factors involved; Beta HCG is reliable for early detection of pregnancy; A negative beta test indicates the fact that you are not yet pregnant during testing. Re-test if your period still disappears after seven days or so and seek out professional medical assistance

But, I still have not got it.

Taking emergency contraceptive pills can affect your menstrual cycle and cause changes in your period. If your concerned about pregnancy then do a UPT for confirmation or a home pregnancy test.

Is it normal to bleed 8 days after taking the plan b

Male | 19

This is a common side effect of Plan B; nonetheless, there are some cases when it might also cause bleeding. Sometimes, the pill may alter your menstrual cycle and then you'll get the annoying bleeding. But, if you have heavy bleeding, severe pain, or feel dizzy, you must consult the doctor about this. Make it a habit to drink plenty of water and take proper amounts of rest.

I had unprotected sex on 7th February and had ipill later. Afterwards I got my period on 19th February. I had protected sex on 26th February and again on 11 March. I am 2 days late

Female | 22

Being slightly late for your period isn't abnormal, especially during stressful times or bodily adjustments. The unprotected sexual encounter on February 7th, followed by taking emergency contraception, could impact your cycle. That might explain your delayed period. Remember, stress, diet modifications, and illness can also affect menstruation. If you're still worried, a home pregnancy test can offer clarity.

I am patient of pcos I want to know that if I conceive with pcos it will harm me or my baby during the pragnancy?

Female | 28

Having PCOS does not necessarily mean that you will experience harm or that your baby will be at risk during pregnancy. However some women with PCOS may have a slightly higher risk of certain complications such as gestational diabetes and preterm birth. So close monitoring and regular prenatal care are important..
