Caring for your ankle by icing, resting, elevating, and compressing is wise. However, swelling lasting 3 weeks raises concern. Walking pain-free is positive, yet sitting discomfort hints at lingering issues. Consult an orthopedist to rule out serious problems. Meanwhile, continue icing, resting and elevating.

My hips pain inside side sometimes no pain in daily activity or urination no daily sometimes but in winter sharp pain and my pain sometimes outsides of vagina which has lines on both sides on the line with monopibious and side colors is red allrgic red what my conditions and symptoms ??i fell no pain in vagina and urination .and i face drops after urine which are eliminated by cleaning with tissue am unmarried
Female | 22
As you described, the sharp hip pain you get during the winter months and the redness and lines outside the vagina might be due to a condition called vulvar dermatitis. This can be painful but it is not the cause of pain inside the vagina or during urination. The drops after urination could be the muscle around the bladder causing it. To alleviate the discomfort, gentle washing and wearing cotton underwear may help. If the symptoms persist, an orthopedist can provide further guidance.

I have tfcc injury about a 1 month which medicine is taken to treat this
Male | 23
Seeing an orthopedist and getting a full diagnosis and a treatment plan is the first thing I would advise you to do for the TFCC injury. The specialist would probably issue a script for painkillers, immobilization, and/or physiotherapy and surgery only if the damage is severe.

According to your description, the pain in your lower back may be attributable to a thing called sciatica. When the nerves are compressed in the back, this is when it tends to hurt that traveling the leg even can. This is a usual occurrence during pregnancy Simple home care techniques such as regular exercises as well as the application of a hot pack at home and creating comfort as a result of using proper posture may be beneficial in relief. However, always ensure a second opinion from an orthopedist to make sure you are on the right track.

I have a blister on reagion near coxal bone along with pain in bone or muscle
Female | 19
A blister formed close to your hip bone. It hurts in the bone or muscle region. Rubbing or pressure led to the blister. Inflammation caused bone/muscle pain. Keep it clean, use a bandage to prevent rubbing, and let it heal naturally. If no improvement, consult an orthopedist.

Hi I broke my finger in turkey and the doctor said that I might have a surgery can you please check my x ray if my finger is that bad do I have to be operated
Male | 16
Signs of a broken finger include swelling, pain, and difficulty when trying to move the finger. Sometimes, such injuries could be the result of a few falls or sports accidents. A surgery could be necessary if the fractured part is displaced or includes a joint. My preference goes to you getting in contact with a specialist after the X-ray to be able to talk throughout treatments. Rather than going for more complex therapies, you can use a cast that your local medical facility can get you as of now, to stabilize the area till you go and see an orthopedist.

My son's hip bones are out of the sockets and he's only able to walk using crutches. Due to severe pain, he's posture has been affected and he bends forward. He has developed some deformity on his back due to the posture. What can we do?
Male | 12
The pelvic mismatch tends to bring other related problems and thus, it should be corrected. In my view, a visit to a competent orthopedic doctor is the first step here. They can determine the extent of the situation after a thorough examination is performed. This would include a review of his joints and might lead to a recommendation for a more therapeutic approach such as physical.

my right leg/thigh/hip is bigger than the left What is wrong with me
Male | 20
If one leg/thigh/hip is bigger than the other, it might be because of a muscle imbalance. This means that one side is stronger than the other. You may develop this condition by constantly using your one leg when walking or doing physical exercises. To solve this problem, ensure workouts that will serve each side equally.

I am a 43 year old female, I have been experiencing chronic lower back pain for the last 8 months, the pain feels like it is nerves, I have trouble walking and can only walk around 20 metres. I take lyrica and palexia, they do not seem to be working. This is having a huge impact in my life
Female | 43
Chronic lower back pain can have various causes, such as spinal herniation, muscle strain, or spinal stenosis. If the pain feels nerve-related and affects your ability to walk, it could indicate nerve compression or damage. If medications like Lyrica and Palexia aren't effective, consider discussing other options with an orthopedist, such as physical therapy, injections, or surgery.

Right side corner sudden pain
Female | 24
Right-side corner pain can be uncomfortable. Common causes include gas or muscle strain. Gas typically causes sharp, intermittent discomfort, while muscle strain is painful during movement. To relieve gas, drink water and stay active. For muscle strain, rest and gentle stretches are recommended. If the pain is severe or lasts for a long time, it's important to visit an orthopedist.

Today, my father injured his leg with a rod from a moving bike. Thankfully, the injury is not severe, but his leg is swollen and painful. We are applying an ice pack and using Volini spray. There is no redness, numbness, wound, or cut. A few days ago, he also experienced muscle cramps in the same leg. I'm very worried. Could you please advise me on what to do next?
Male | 49
A muscle injury may have developed in your father due to the impact of a rod striking his leg. This type of injury often results in swelling and pain as well. The muscle cramps he had earlier may be linked to this incident. Continue applying the ice pack and using Volini spray for swelling and pain relief. Prevent him from exposing his leg to any extra tension and ensure he does not move his injured leg. If the pain remains or gets worse, visit an orthopedist.

I’m 20 year old male. I’m feeling pain in only a single spine while stretching and while bending my neck too much. The pain in the spine that is between the scapula. The pain in not radiating or spreading. It is only on that single spine
Male | 20
It sounds like there might be a sore muscle in your spine between your shoulder blades. It can result from overexertion or bad posture. The symptoms are pain when you stretch or bend your neck. To help, try mild stretching, use a heating pad, and take the prescribed pain relievers. In case the pain remains or the situation gets worse, consult an orthopedist who will examine you further.

My grandma is 75 years old. Today a big object fell on her toe, we took a radio graph of her hallux so i wanted to know if there is any fracture there or not.
Female | 75
The common symptoms are usually swelling, bruising, and pain when touching or moving the toe. If the X-ray exposes a break, treatment usually includes rest, ice, elevation, and, if needed, a splint or orthopedic shoe to stabilize the area. It's best always to get an appointment with an orthopedist for a better evaluation and personalized advice. They can come up with different solutions after they see her overall health with the X-ray results.

Please I have severe pain in my lower back down to both of my legs
Male | 24
You might be suffering from sciatica, a condition where pain starts in your lower back and goes down to your legs. This happens because a nerve in your back is under pressure. The pain can be shooting, sharp, or constant. To relieve the pain, it is important to rest, use heat or ice packs, and do gentle stretches. If the pain persists, it's best to see an orthopedist for further tests and treatment options.

Regarding some medicine .... I m having osteoarthritis
Female | 49
Osteoarthritis is a condition that can cause pain and stiffness in your joints. The tissues that cushion your joints wear away, leading to this problem. Sometimes it may be due to old age, an injury, or obesity. You can do low-impact exercises such as walking or swimming to relieve the pain. Alternatively, apply ice packs or use heating pads on the affected area. Furthermore, purchasing footwear with proper arch support may also alleviate discomfort.
