Do I Need Surgery for Endometrial Hyperplasia?
Post menopausal bleeding biopsy report endometrial hyperplasia without atypia MRI and TVS report NO abnormal noted No lesion seen.does it require surgery or progesterone help to get rid of it?

Social Obstetrics And Gynecologist
Answered on 13th Nov '24
The doctor ordered this radiological test to check for any abnormalities, such as polyps or cancer, which might be causing post-menopausal bleeding. Endometrial hyperplasia, a condition where the uterine lining becomes thickened, may or may not involve atypical (abnormal) cells. If MRI and TVS reports show no pathological abnormalities, progesterone therapy may be recommended as a non-surgical treatment option.

can small intramurial fibroid cause prolonge periods
Female | 34
Yes, small fibroids inside the uterus can sometimes make periods last longer. This occurs because the fibroid disrupts normal menstrual flow. Heavy bleeding and extended periods are common symptoms. While the exact cause is unknown, hormones likely influence fibroid growth. Treatment may involve medication or surgical removal of the fibroid, depending on severity. It's wise to consult a gynecologist for personalized guidance on managing this condition.

It’s understandable to be concerned about missed periods and negative pregnancy tests. Various factors can affect your cycle, including stress, hormonal imbalances, weight changes, or health conditions. The excessive wetness may be unrelated but worth noting. If you suspect pregnancy despite negative tests or have any other symptoms, consulting a gynecologist is essential for accurate assessment and guidance. Female | 27
It’s possible based on what you’re feeling that you’re showing early symptoms of being pregnant. Feeling sick, tenderness in the breast area, and the lower part of your stomach feeling hard are all signs women have during early pregnancy. However, the only way to be sure is by taking a pregnancy test. If it turns out positive then it means you need to see a gynecologist so that they can give you prenatal care.

Female | 44
It's understandable to feel concerned about a missed cycle, especially with symptoms like nausea and back discomfort. Stress, changes in diet, or hormonal fluctuations can contribute to irregularities, even in individuals with typically regular cycles. A negative test result indicates that pregnancy is unlikely, but these symptoms may suggest other underlying issues such as hormonal imbalances or digestive changes. I recommend keeping track of your symptoms and considering lifestyle adjustments. If your period doesn't return soon or symptoms persist, don't hesitate to contact a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized advice.

PCOS causes not only problems with menstruation but also with ovulation, and anovulation, as it happens. When you're on progesterone therapy, you can get spotting due to hormone level instability. Spotting is a common sign of changes in the female body but usually is physiological. Female | 30
Itching and burning sensations could indicate a yeast infection. This condition occurs when yeast multiplies excessively. One-sided swelling may also suggest an infection. Hormonal shifts, antibiotic usage, or a weakened immune system can also contribute to yeast overgrowth. Fortunately, over-the-counter creams, and pills effectively treat yeast infections. Maintaining cleanliness and dryness in the affected region is crucial for preventing further irritation.
