It looks like you’ve had some irregularities after taking emergency contraception (iPill). Changes in the menstrual cycle are common after taking such pills. Hormonal changes can cause spotting, flow change, or irregular periods. If you are concerned about being pregnant then you should have a pregnancy test done. Keep in mind that stress can also affect your period. It’s fine to take your medication regularly. It might be good if you visit a gynecologist for more guidance in case you have anxiety or any abnormal signs.

I had protected intercourse 15 day ago and after that on 1st December I had unprotected intercourse but after 1hr I had contraceptive i-pill. My date was 7th November and today is 3rd November and I have symptoms of periods but fever from yesterday. And I am having something very tiny discharge of white color I guess because can't even see it clearly. What is that. And when will my periods come. I'm I pregnant??

Female | 21

FEVER may not be related to PREGNANCY.. Tiny discharge is NORMAL.. I-Pill is EFFECTIVE within 72 hours of intercourse.. CONTRACEPTIVES can sometimes alter MENSTRUAL CYCLES.. Symptoms may indicate PERIODS coming soon.. If no periods in a week, take a PREGNANCY TEST..

Yes, HPV stands for Human Papillomavirus, and it is indeed an STI. HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections worldwide. It can be transmitted through vaginal, anal, or oral sex, as well as through other intimate skin-to-skin contact.

Hello dr my name is dhruvisha Katariya. I am 20 year old. I had sex with my partner a day ago. We also used protection. Now my period date It has come. But my periods have not come.

Female | 20

It's completely normal for periods to be late sometimes even if you have used protection. Common causes could be stress, a change in routine, or hormonal imbalance. If you are concerned, wait a few more days and then take a home pregnancy test. Remember that irregular periods can happen but it is always good to get checked out just in case.

Household chores after hysterectomy?

Female | 41

To start with light household chores after a hysterectomy and avoid the strenuous activities. For the first weeks, do not lift anything more than 10 pounds to avoid putting stress on this area of surgery. Reintroduce activities such as cooking or light cleaning gradually, but never bend, stretch or lift heavy weight. If you feel uncomfortable or tired, listen to your body and rest. Generally, 6 to 8 weeks after the doctor’s recommendations a gradual return to normal activities is prescribed.

i am having pcos..and want to conceive....pls suggest medicines .....for that

Female | 30

Conceiving with PCOS is hard, but it is possible with certain approaches. PCOS might cause irregular periods, weight gain, and difficulty getting pregnant because your ovaries make too many male hormones. Your doctor can prescribe drugs that help regulate your menstrual cycle and increase the odds of regular ovulation which can bump up your chances for conception. These medications work by balancing out hormone levels while raising the likelihood of successful pregnancy.

I had sex 4 days before my periods my periods cycle is 30 days there is any chance of pregnancy

Female | 22

Having sex close to your period may pose a pregnancy risk because the sperm can last in the body for a few days. You're most fertile around ovulation, but it's hard to tell the exact time. If you miss your period or have symptoms like nausea or breast tenderness, you may want to take a pregnancy test.
