Discontinuing medications such as risperidone and haloperidol can lead to a drop in serotonin and dopamine levels. Additionally, the use of supplements like tryptophan, tyrosine, 5-HTP, and mucuna pruriens may also affect neurotransmitter levels. It's essential to consult a specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment of any potential imbalances beforehand.
