Although medications and electroconvulsive therapy are effective in alleviating depressed state, she can still be feeling sick. Recovery is on a personal level and it depends on the specific individual, yet sticking to treatment is vital. If watched closely the antidepressants could not only help feeling better but also bring down pain. Please engage in regular communication with her healthcare provider for the best outcome, monitor if the medication is effective and require adjustments if necessary.

Hi Doctor ,my child 3.5 yrs weight 11.7kg is a known case of seizure of unknown cause since 5 months of age.Now she is on Soval chrono 350 mg per day..... seizure is under control......all investigation are normal like eeg,MRI and other blood test......is the treatment going on in right track? She has leg pain at night time. Her latest serum valproic acid level is 115 which is slightly in toxic level.what to do now please suggest.
Female | 3
It's good your child's seizures remain controlled, although the night leg pains and higher valproic acid levels need discussion. Night leg pains might signal low magnesium or calcium, so checking those could help explain it. To address the higher valproic acid level, adjusting that medication dose may resolve it. Follow up with your child's doctor about these symptoms and potential treatment changes. If any other concerns arise, don't hesitate to reach out to a neurologist for guidance.

My grandfather age is 69he has second brain stroke for 2 month he unable to speak and eat and unable to walk. toady his bp is high what is the reason for high bp please tell me doctor
Male | 69
It is normal to have high blood pressure after a stroke. These blood pressure rises could be because of the brain damage that regulates the level of pressure. Furthermore, hypertension is often asymptomatic however it can cause additional strokes. Ensure that he takes his medication, eats well, and goes for check-ups regularly.

When I press my head backside (the place where it was hit when I fell)... It's bleeding from nose... And we took a CT scan they told there's nothing on it... But now it's strted to bleeding on ears and then the eyes on the side where it was hit
Male | 16
It sounds like you are experiencing some serious symptoms, even though your CT scan showed no abnormalities. Bleeding from the nose, ears, and eyes after a head injury can be concerning and should be taken seriously. I strongly recommend that you visit a neurologist or an ENT specialist as soon as possible for a thorough examination and proper treatment. They will be able to assess your condition more accurately and provide the necessary care.

I am 24 years old. I have recurring fever from past three days. It is less like fever, it is more like my body is heating up so much, mostly at nights. The heat is extreme. I have also got subconjunctival hemorrhage in my eyes for the second time. First time it happened around one and a half month back.

The symptoms you described, like recurring fever, excessive body warmth, and red eyes, might indicate an underlying infection. These can sometimes signal a condition needing medical care. Tension headaches bring acute head pain, often at the back. It's stabbing, short-lived. Stress, poor posture, or eye strain may trigger it. Drink enough water. Take breaks from screens to rest eyes. Try relaxation methods. If the symptoms persist, see a neurologist.

Respected Dr sahab I suffered laziness and tiredness every time but I taken satvit plus co q forte not batter. My sugar, thyroid, vitamin D and vitamin b12 all are ok. pl suggest
Male | 45
If your sugar, thyroid, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 are all normal, then the Satvit Plus Co Q Forte may not be the best choice for you. It is possible that you are just feeling tired due to a lack of sleep or stress. Consider getting more sleep, exercising regularly, and reducing stress. In addition, make sure you are eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables and avoiding processed foods. Finally, if you are still feeling tired, consider talking to your doctor about other potential causes and treatments.

I am 18 and have recently been experiencing heavy memory loss (ex. unable to remember names, forgetting how to do tasks, driving unknown places). I have an appointment but I'm unsure whether I should go to urgent care for this instead or not.
Female | 18
Memory loss, particularly at a young age, is a matter of concern. Forgetfulness, having difficulties remembering names or tasks, and getting lost can be the signs of a serious issue. It might be due to stress, a lack of sleep, or a medical problem such as a brain injury or dementia. Getting a checked-up by a neurologist is essential. They can figure out the reason and offer the right treatment to help your memory improvement.

I am 23 years old. I am feeling dizzy all of sudden. what should I do doctor.
Female | 23
Dizziness strikes out of nowhere. Causes range from dehydration to blood sugar drops or even ear infections. If hit with dizziness, sit or lie down, sip water slowly, and relax. Maybe munch on a snack if low blood sugar's suspected. But persistent dizziness warrants seeing a doctor; determine the real reason.

Headaches and iam not sleeping. I feel my pulse in my head, heart, and hands. I feel that my mind is not sleeping. I cannot sleep. The tests and x-rays are fine. Iam feel lost my mind its from 10 years every day
Male | 30
You seem to suffer from chronic insomnia and tension headaches. Your heart can actively start to beat in your head, heart, or hands during the panic attacks. The lack of sleep that causes the symptoms gets even worse daily. Among them, which can be triggered by stress, insomnia, and bad habits in sleeping. Create a bedtime routine, restrict caffeine, and screen time before bed, and practice deep breathing percussions. Physical activity and counseling can also be amongst the manners to receive further benefits.

Female | 26
Headaches bothering you a while now, huh? That's hard. When they worsen suddenly, we must learn why. Severe ones can come from stress, tired eyes, not enough water, missed sleep, or graver issues too. Since Panadol didn't work, it's wise to see a neurologist for proper checks.

I'm 17 years old. I'm having sleep problems.i can't sleep properly in night, it's almost took me 2 hours to sleep even after closing my eyes. And in day time , my eyes started to burning
Female | 17
Seems like you might have insomnia, that is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. If you can’t fall asleep at night this can cause tired eyes that burn all day long. Stress, caffeine and use of screens before bedtime are some common reasons why teenagers suffer from this condition. Establishing a night time routine, avoiding caffeine and switching off the screens before going to bed may help improve your sleeping patterns.
