Could pain in left foot be DVT-related?
Hey! Little backstory of me. I had diagnosed DVT 4 months ago. So I am still using anticoagulants. DVT cause was covid and it started on left calf. Now, few days ago I woke up and suddenly felt pain in my left foot. To be precise, on the ball of foot. No swelling or color changes. And no jumping or running or long days on foot. Just a pain. I can’t stand and put pressure on this foot. But, if I try to walk a little, the pain gets milder. It won’t completely go away, but I can manage it. First question is, can I get blood clot on bottom of my foot? Secondly, I tried to research and got no real answers, so maybe you could take a guess. Age 29, weight 80kg.

Yes, getting a blood clot in the small vessels of your foot is something that can happen, but it is rare. The pain that you have may be nerve problems or strain. Be observant of it and if it does not go away or worsens, do not hesitate to contact an orthopedist for a check-up to be on the safe side.

I have grinding in my right shoulder (dominant arm) along with accompanying pain at some times. Last year I was playing basketball and after a few weeks of playing some games I developed a pain in said shoulder. I let the pain fade on its own and discovered the grinding (like a bone on bone contact) in my shoulder. I would like to know if it could be serious and if at this point I could do anything about it. I am an athlete and have had tendinitis in my Achilles tendon (ankle) if that helps anything.

I am a 17-year-old female who is recovering from a mild knee ligament stretch. I had a splint for 2 weeks and had been recovering for over a month. Yesterday, I played badminton because my knee felt good. However, I had an awkward fall and twisted my knee. It hurt at first, but I can walk and climb stairs relatively normally. It hurts when I fully straighten my knee or tighten it. There is no buckling of the knee. The pain is a little achey and a little dull. I don't know which one exactly. What should I do? Is it okay if I resume normal activities, but just be more careful and elevate my leg when I sit or lie down?

You might have twisted your knee again while playing badminton. Aching dull pain when you try to straighten or tighten your knee could mean the ligament has been pulled too hard. It’s great that you can still walk and go upstairs. To let it get better, you should rest as much as possible, put your leg up from time to time, and avoid doing anything too hard for a while.

Laminectomy and Discordectomy + l4-5 fixation with decompression of cord. Pre op my problem was being unable to stand and drive for more than 15 mins after that, I feel burning sensation in my left leg. Post op after 2 months, the situation is worse. Now I cannot even site for 10-15 mins without the same happening. The doctor said it is due to lack of protein and to eat more non veg but I have been eating Non-veg every other day. Is the doctor here have performed a failed op or it wasn't even the right operation needed to undergo

Hi, I'm 21 years old, female and since September 2021 i have muscle weakness. It only occurs when i'm moving. When i chew, or walk too fast or if i brush my hair, my muscles get tired very quickly. if i sit or lay down in a certain position, my upper body starts getting kind of muscle ache. My muscle weakness is on my hole body, started on my neck, on my legs, arms and my upper body. When i rest, it gets better. The first symptoms occurs 3 days after i had an intoxication with crabs eye plant seeds. I have talked to my physician about it, blood test, especially muscle enzymes were normal. He said nothing further about it. I'm pretty sure, the muscle weakness comes from the intoxication, but i'm not sure what should i do now.
