I am having very sharp and constant pain shooting from my outer elbow down to my pinkie and my thumb/ index finger. It's causing tingling and numbness to those fingers. I've tried putting ice packs on it but it makes the pain worse. And a little of the ulna looks to be protruding a little bit more then my other elbow. I have it at rest at the moment and the pain is constant

Ulnar nerve passes through a tunnel at the elbow - the cubital tunnel. When compressed, it can lead to symptoms like pain, tingling, and numbness in the ring and little fingers. The protrusion in your ulna bone might be worsening the compression. To manage this, try keeping your elbow in a relaxed position. Avoid resting it on hard surfaces or bending it excessively. See an orthopedist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

I have alot of swelling in my leg i cant walk and its painful
Female | 17
You might have a disease called deep vein thrombosis (DVT). It begins when occurs a clot in a deep vein, most often, however, in the leg. Swelling, pain, warmth, and redness are the symptoms. To cure DVT, blood thinners may be required to stop the clots from getting bigger. Intensive care interventions also require a raised leg and rest. However, it might be necessary for the veins to be compressed further if your leg swelling and pain do not go away or worsen.

My mother has a small tumor on her elbow is it possible cancer?
Female | 48
There’s an urgent need for an expert like an orthopedic surgeon or an oncologist to inspect the tumor on your mother's arm. Not all tumors develop into cancer, so a thorough investigation is necessary to avoid any malignancy. Once it is confirmed that cancer is present, treatment alternatives can be explored.

I have got burn in my ankle and i got wound. How Can i heal this fast.
Male | 25
Burns occur when skin contacts hot items like fire or boiling water. The area might be red, swollen, and painful. To heal faster, gently clean the wound, apply burn cream, and bandage it. Keep it clean and dry for a few days. If it doesn't improve or you notice pus or more pain, see a healthcare provider. But for now, keep it clean and protected.

I have pain in both hands(3 inches above and below the elbows) and legs(5 inches above and below the knees). Not bone pain as I feel good if I try to restrict my blood flow. I always wear knee and elbow caps for pain relief. As far I remember I'm suffering from this pain for almost 13-14 years. Currently, I'm 20 years, I'm was being told it was due to the growing stage. Earlier I had vitamin D level 7 but now it is 30 but still, the pain is not gone. I have pain almost daily, I will feel lucky I don't have pain that particular day. If I walk for long or stand or play, or do something intense then the intensity of the pain will be unbearable sometimes due to pain I can't even sleep at night. In my test report, I have everything normal. Tests I have done so far are ASO TITRE, Anti-Nuclear, CPR, HLA B profile, Anti-CCP, Phosphorus, CPK, URIC ACID, CALCIUM, GLUCOSE, VITAMIN D AND B-12, THS, CBC, Alkaline Phosphate, Potassium, LDH, Magnesium.

Hi, I'm a 22 year old male with back pain, I've been to doctors loads of times for the past 7-8 months but all they been telling me is to take pain killers and exercise, ive had a MRI scan which showed L5-S1 left subarticular disc protrusion and L4-5 facet joint arthropathies is that right for them to keep telling me to exercise?
Male | 22
The MRI scan reveals a disc disorder, along with an ache from the facet joint. Workouts can make your muscles healthier and render them more flexible, which is very helpful when managing the pain. You really must stick to the exercise plan of the physiotherapist without fail to reduce the damage caused. Painkillers are one way of pain relief, but the long-term solution comes from exercise, and maybe a few more such treatments like physical therapy depending on the severity of the problem.

Male | 36
You might be facing a condition called osteoarthritis. It is the case when the cartilage in your knees wears down which is a common problem. This may lead to pain that can be aggravated by bending or standing up. It is important to be active, keep your weight in check, and prevent injury to your joints. The use of heat or cold packs, mild exercises, and the intake of non-prescription pain meds may be useful. Should the pain continue, visiting a physical therapist or orthopedic specialist might be necessary for further assessment.

Hello I am interested in doing a limb lengthening surgery but I have a fear of inserting a metal rod can doctors also have an option to insert a bone graft(which is from another donor) so that it will be more good for PPL
Male | 19
Although metal rods are often used in this process, I understand that patients may be very apprehensive. Bone grafts from donors can also be a choice, but they are scarce and depend on the case. The method of this type of treatment is to promote natural growth that will be fully integrated into your body. It is important to consider all options with a skilled orthopedic surgeon, so that they can thoroughly assess your situation and suggest the best approach.

The pain you are suffering from could be caused by something that sits on the nerves. This can be the result of vertebrae that are not in the right place or if the area around them is swollen. 14 years se arthritis h thik ho ga ya nahi
Female | 45
Arthritis affects the joints, causing pain, stiffness, and swelling. While these symptoms can improve with treatment, they often come back. For someone living with arthritis for 14 years, proper management is important. This includes medications, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Regular check-ups with healthcare providers help monitor progress and adjust treatment. Although arthritis doesn’t go away completely, it can be well-managed over time.

Female | 23
You seem affected by knee discomfort, yet solutions exist if we collaborate. Numerous factors like trauma, excessive strain, or joint inflammation often contribute. Additionally, menstrual delays can influence bodily functions. Applying warmth locally might alleviate symptoms temporarily. However, if the issue continues, go to an orthopedist.

Wrist pain is common among young people and often results from repetitive hand movements, like writing or playing sports. As your body grows, your muscles and tendons might lag, leading to discomfort. To help, try resting your wrist, applying a cold pack, and doing gentle stretches. If the pain persists, it's best to consult an orthopedist.

I'm a 18 year old female and I've been having cramps in my left hand, mainly from elbow under to wrist and my fingers feel kind of stiff. It happened for the first time 3/4 days ago and went away automatically in about 20 mins. It happened twice today and again went on it's own. Nothing done to trigger it. A bit of neck pain. Have generalised anxiety disorder and currently tapering off of Paxidep 12.5 . The cramps kind of feel like weakness and dull ache. I can't call it painful as it does not cause pain but a bit uncomfortable.
