Menopause is a normal stage in a woman's life, usually around the age of 50 or 60. Symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and trouble sleeping can be bothersome. These symptoms happen due to hormonal changes in the body. You can try lifestyle changes like regular exercise, a healthy diet, and managing stress to help relieve these symptoms. It's also helpful to wear loose clothing and use fans to stay cool. If these tips don’t help, you can talk to a gynecologist about other treatment options.

I really don't have a question.. I think I have breast cancer and I'm scared I don't know were to start I'm really scared.. Please help me

Female | 37

I believe that seeing a gynecologist or a breast specialist can help me to get the most accurate diagnosis and proper treatment. They can do all needed examinations and give the patient the appropriate diagnosis. Early detection of breast cancer is fundamental and therefore, do not procrastinate in visiting the clinic for thorough medical checks.

Hi, good day Last month I visited my aunt, used the toilet at her place, the toilet was awful Two days later I started feeling this light itch in my vagina, labia majora It continued the itch became worse and I even noticed a discharge I went to the pharmacy and bought fluconazole After taking the dose the discharge stopped and the itching reduced a great deal But then I exhausted the tablet I think I took it for five days I felt the infection was gone though I still had a bit of an itch... Afterwards my period came and during the course of my period I experienced no itch but after I was done with my period the itch returned, though not as it was before I started taking fluconazole, just that I get the itch from time to time I've not had sexual intercourse before (penis in vagina).

You might have yourself a yeast infection. Yeast infections can result in itching and unusual discharge. These occur when there is an imbalance between good and bad bacteria in the vagina. This can be caused by taking certain drugs or being in a wet place such as using a dirty toilet. Buy some anti-fungal creams or tablets from your local pharmacy. Another thing you could do is wear cotton underwear more often because they’re breathable fabric and practice good hygiene so that this doesn’t happen again.

If it's within 72 HOURS of sex,, take emergency contraception.. Consider regular birth control.. Get tested for STIs.. Make sure to use protection next time.

I took unwanted 72 pill twice a month(we also used condoms) (one on 28 Feb and another on 11th march) of my cycle. My period due date was 20th March and it's one day late. What can be the reason behind it and what can be done? Can I still be pregnant?

Female | 25

Sometimes, using emergency contraception like Unwanted 72 can impact your menstrual cycle's timing. Stress, illness, routine changes - these factors can also delay your period's arrival. With the dates you provided and the condom usage, pregnancy seems unlikely. However, waiting a bit longer may yield your expected period. If concerns persist, a pregnancy test could offer reassurance.

I missed my periods yesterday and took beta HCG blood test today. I turned -ve. Is there any hope for pregnancy few days after?.... Please confirm

Female | 25

Missing a period does not confirm pregnancy, there may be other factors involved; Beta HCG is reliable for early detection of pregnancy; A negative beta test indicates the fact that you are not yet pregnant during testing. Re-test if your period still disappears after seven days or so and seek out professional medical assistance
