I am a 16 year old girl that is an athlete basically do every sport but during soccer season I ended up having multiple injuries that caused my ankle to be involved like the top left or we could say bottom shin on the left and pretty much hurts every time smth hits it or put a lot of pressure on it
Female | 15
Ankle sprains are common in sports and often involve pain, swelling, and difficulty walking. They typically occur when the ankle rolls over, causing the ligaments to stretch or tear. To manage pain and swelling, try resting, applying ice, compressing the area with a bandage, and elevating your leg. It's important to give your ankle time to heal before returning to sports. If the pain persists, it's best to see an orthopedist.

Knee pain while climbing stairs other than there is no pain in knee I don't use any medications also don't have my past injury....I felt pain for past 4 days while climbing stairs only ..... My weight 75 kg height 160 cm
Female | 33
This may occur when there is a sudden increase in physical activity which puts stress on these joints. Rest the knee, put some ice on it, and avoid anything that makes the pain worse for a few days. If the pain continues after this time then I would advise speaking with an orthopedist.

Hello, 3 hours ago i fell on my knee while skateboarding. Left knee over the patella now swollen a bit more left over the patella. It looks tho as if the bone slipped, might be because of the swelling but thats what concerns me. I can walk without pain and its a bit red because its a small wound now. I could send pictures. I am 22.
Male | 22
You have probably damaged your knee as a consequence of falling overboard. Swelling and maybe a bone slip are the consequence of trauma or impact caused by a fall. The good news is that you can walk without any pain. You can put a cold pack on to soothe the discomfort and raise your knee. Monitor any development and visit an orthopedist if the pain does not go away or worsens.

My mother is 48 years old shes suffering from arthritis from 12 years please help me She sometimes complain that her arm and nerves inside her stomach paining and she also complain that nerves inside her stomach getting to blossom
Female | 48
Your mother appears to be suffering from arthritis for a long time. The pain in her arm may be caused by joint inflammation which indicates that it’s a nerve problem if she experiences discomfort in the stomach too. When people have arthritis, sometimes they undergo a situation where nerves get affected hence feeling pain in different body parts apart from those with affected joints. To minimize the pain she is going through she should do gentle exercises, use warm towels if possible, and get drugs prescribed by a physician.

She fell off on her wrist which causes fracture
Female | 54
If you fall and break your wrist, you may end up with a fracture. In addition to hurting, the occurrence of welling can be felt. It may be difficult to move your wrist as well. The reason for this is that the bone was forced to bear so much weight that the bone practically shattered. The first step to get it to heal is to put it in a cast or a splint so the bone can repair itself gradually. It's important to keep your wrist relatively immobile until it gets well.

Experiencing discomfort in your feet for weeks may have been caused by the fact that your feet were subjected to different amounts of pressure, you were wearing uncomfortable shoes, and you may have some grave diseases such as plantar fasciitis or arthritis. Common symptoms include aching, swelling, or stiffness. To alleviate discomfort, try resting your feet, applying ice packs, and elevating your legs. Well-made shoes can make a big difference.

Mild pain in left testis and left leg
Male | 23
The pain might come from a varicocele, like a varicose vein in your testicle. It slows blood flow and causes aching. To help, wear supportive underwear and avoid standing too long. But if pain worsens or you notice swelling or changes in your testis, see a doctor. This rules out serious problems.

Hello, my son of two years and five months has suffered two fractures in the last five months. The first time was fractured in the femur region of the left leg and the second time it was broken below that and above the knee of the same leg. I sent you the results of the test and the photo of the bone density. Please guide me. I took this test two days after opening his leg.
Male | 2
Hello, according to the information given in, your son appears to be suffering from some underlying bone health problems. As a next step, I would recommend you to see bone density and overall health assessed by an orthopedist and a paediatric endocrinologist. These experts will be able to give your son the correct diagnosis and treatment plan for the situation he is in.

I came back from gym I stuffed 2 pounds and 1 50 in my sock I left it and the shoes pressed the coins against the skin (I ignored it) when I came back from gym I saw when I took my socks off my feet had circles where the coins were and it was blue is it meaning I will get cancer I’m worried I washed the colour off but there still is some left
Male | 18
Bruises, like the one from coins pressing against your feet, happen when tiny blood vessels break. The skin turns purple or blue from leaking blood underneath. These usually fade away on their own after some time. Just be careful not to put more pressure there. The bruise should go away without issues. However, let an orthopedist know if you see anything concerning.

Female | 20
It's important to address your recurring lower back pain, especially since it's now affecting your hip area. These symptoms could indicate a musculoskeletal issue or a possible strain. I recommend consulting an orthopedic specialist or a physiotherapist. They can evaluate your condition, suggest appropriate exercises or treatments, and provide guidance on managing and preventing further discomfort.

Female | Piyu
It’s understandable to feel concerned about your posture and discomfort. Changes in posture can sometimes lead to pain and visible bone alignment changes. Conditions like scoliosis or kyphosis may occur, affecting your back and neck. To improve your situation, focus on core strengthening exercises, maintain a good ergonomic posture while sitting, and incorporate regular stretching. A balanced diet supportive of bone health is beneficial too. However, it’s essential to consult a orthopedist for a proper assessment and personalized advice. They can guide you through appropriate exercises and corrective measures tailored to your needs.

My Mother is getting Pain on Shoulder and Neck since Last Week . She is more than 50 Year old. Due to this Pathay Pain she is unable to sleep and Work. I am living in Saudia but worried about their Health
Female | 50
Such problems as shoulder pain and neck trouble can have different sources like muscle tension, wrong position, or degenerative changes which primarily occur in people over 50. Not being able to sleep and, consequently, not being able to work also contribute to the situation. Suggest she apply the heat or cold packs and do the stretching exercises very gently. Then, the correct posture is also a necessary requisite. Nevertheless, it has been a week, and I suggest that you consult an orthopedist for the examination and personalized treatment.

Male | 24
The discomfort in your upper back, the tightness in the chest, and neck pain could be stemming from the slight disc bulge in the neck. This can contribute to the irritation of the nerves thus evoking the preceding symptoms. To prevent this, you can use different activities such as therapy exercises, light neck stretches, proper posture, and heating or icing packs. Besides, you should always stick to the advice of your orthopedist.
