Bloating in your tummy and chest area might be happening due to eating lots of heavy food can cause. Your chest and stomach may seem bigger from bloating. The water from bathing could also make your chest look different for a bit. Eat smaller meals, stay away from heavy foods, and drink enough water. Doing some light exercises can also help reduce bloating.

I have problem in eating food as it gets stuck every time from last 2 days
Male | 43
Difficulty in swallowing can be distressing and is often due to different problems such as inflammation of the throat, esophageal strictures or muscle-related difficulties. These symptoms can be through a sensation of food sticking in the throat, discomfort, or pain while eating. Soothe yourself first. You should take plenty of fluids first to make sure you're okay. However, softer and smaller bites can also work effectively in the case. Advisable, If the symptoms don't go away and (or) they worsen, I suggest you call a gastroenterologist. They will determine what is going on and give you some choices.

My throat has been hurting really bad and my stomach is experiencing sharp pains. I don't think I have a fever.
Female | 19
A sore throat and stomach pains have varied reasons. It might signal a viral infection, perhaps a cold or flu. Acid reflux sometimes brings those troubles too. Sip warm water flavored with honey and lemon to ease discomfort. Rest well and avoid spicy cuisine temporarily. However, if symptoms linger, see a gastroenterologist could prove wise.

hello doctor, i’ve recently came down with a fever and a headache in the past few days that has been resolved now. but i have a new set of symptoms, whenever i am stood up i cannot stop belching/burping. this does not happen when i am lying down, however, my stomach and abdomen rumble a lot when i’m lying down. my only other symptom is constipation
Male | 15
The symptoms you are showing, such as wheezing standing up, a rumble in the stomach while lying down, and constipation, could be a sign of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). This can be produced by stress, certain meals, or even hormonal shifts. Maintaining a food diary and doing deep breathing exercises may help you relax. It's also important to drink water and consume a diet rich in fiber which will help constipation. If your symptoms persist, do not hesitate to contact a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and guidance. Take care!

Male | 36
You might have hemorrhoids. These are enlarged blood vessels in the anal canal that can bleed and hurt. They usually occur after periods of constipation when people strain too hard during bowel movements or sit for long periods without taking breaks. You should eat more fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while also staying hydrated by drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day. If your symptoms persist or worsen despite these efforts then I recommend seeing a gastroenterologist.

Male | 18
Your urinary problems and jaundice can be related to your lifestyle, such as a little fatty liver and sometimes glucose levels fluctuations. All these can affect the body metabolism and digestion. You can keep yourself well-hydrated, take a healthy diet, and engage in regular physical activity. These are the things that can bring the betterment of the symptoms. However, the most important thing is that you should get a holistic checkup from a gastroenterologist regarding your non-alcoholic jaundice, liver health, and blood sugar levels.

Female | 22
The irritable bowel syndrome, or bloating gas, can stem from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is a common ailment of the digestive tract. You are by the way at the same age as other people who suffer from this condition. Stress, diet, and allergies to specific foods may all cause IBS. Take the food diary exercise, so you can track what's triggering it. Besides, ensure you take fluids and fiber-rich foods as well. In cases where the problems persist, visiting a gastroenterologist can provide more insight and possible treatment options.

This could be acid reflux, also called heartburn. Acid from your stomach travels back up your esophagus, causing those issues. Try avoiding spicy, fatty foods. Eat smaller portions and don't lie down right after. Elevate your head when sleeping, too. Drink plenty of water; follow a balanced diet. If symptoms persist, talk to a gastroenterologist for help. Your health matters!

I am having loose motion and chest pain and sometimes fever is coming also having pain in some joints like my knee, ankle, and elbow. All these symptoms have been coming since 26th May, and pain in joints its happened sometimes for the last 4 years.

Your symptoms indicate infectious diseases such as virus attack; it may be arthritis too. Additionally, the recurrent joint aches you have had over 4 years should not be overlooked without proper medical attention from a professional health care provider. More importantly, one can take fluids and have enough rest but above everything else they should be thoroughly examined by a gastroenterologist for treatment.

When I lay down, my nose gets closed, and when I get up it opens slowly but almost instantly (some addition that might be helpful: I have GERD)
Male | 18
When you lie down, your nose feels blocked. When you stand up, it slowly clears. This happens due to GERD, a condition where stomach acid flows back up into the esophagus. The acid can reach your nose and cause congestion. To help, prop up your head while sleeping. Avoid eating close to bedtime. If the problem continues, consult a gastroenterologist for advice.

Hi, I have been waking in the early morning (usually between 4 and 5:30) with pain in my shoulders, back, chest or ribs. I am sure it is trapped wind because once I get up and walk around and release the gas by a lot of burping or going to the toilet, the pain goes away. I then try and get back to sleep though can find this difficult. A lot of the time the pain starts again usually 1-2 hours later. Once more, when I sit up it tends to go away, even without burping etc. I do have tenderness around my diaphragm sometimes or sensitivity when pressing to try and move the area. I seem to experience this nightly now regardless of dietary changes. I am a 45 year old male and in generally reasonable health. Thanks for your help. Paul

After going through the symptoms, it is likely due to Gerd or may be gastric ulcer. You need to consult a medicine doctor.

Good evening doctor. I'm an engineering student of 21 years old. 4-5 months ago I had problem of haemorrhoids for which I took homeopathy medicine, improved my eating habits and it was cured. But recently due to bad toilet movements, I'm feeling problem of haemorrhoids again from last 7-8 days. 4-5 days ago I got blood during bowel, but then I took churan and some medicine so from yesterday I'm not getting blood but I can feel a little bulge on anal opening which is causing uneasiness. I'm very scared of surgery, can u please tell in my condition, is surgery a must or it can be made okay by self care. Please help me
Male | 21
You are experiencing a recurrence of hemorrhoids, which can occur due to straining during bowel movements or dietary factors. Your symptoms of bleeding and discomfort are concerning but can often improve with self-care measures. Maintaining a high-fiber diet, staying well-hydrated, and using over-the-counter topical treatments may provide relief. However, if the bulge and discomfort persist or worsen, it's essential to consult a gastroenterologist to explore further options. Surgery is usually not the first line of treatment.
