Answered on 22nd Jan '25
Aapko hips par gath aane ke symptoms ho sakte hain, jaise sujan, dard, ya chalne me pareshani. Ye aise factors se ho sakta hai jaise muscle strain, bursitis, ya arthritis. Sabse pehle, aapko is shetra ko rest dena chahiye aur zyada stress nahi dalna chahiye. Ice pack lagana bhi madadgar hoga. Agar dard zyada ho ya symptoms badhte hain, toh kisi orthopedist se milna zaroori hai. Wo proper diagnosis karke aapke liye best treatment suggest kar sakte hain.

A leg disease and it give me pain
Male | 14
You may be having a health problem called arthritis in your leg. Arthritis attacks the joints and causes pain, swelling, and stiffness. It is when the cartilage, which protects the ends of your bones, wears out over time. To relieve the pain, you can learn some gentle movements, use hot and cold therapy, and take over-the-counter painkillers.

Iam having severe pain above knee joint, from 5days .I can't walk properly, can't stand due to pain, why did it suddenly happened?,and iam having nervous weakness hand paining, thumb etc joints pain ,
Female | 20
The pain may be due to tendonitis, which is the inflammation of the tendons around the knee, and that might be causing the problem. On the other hand, hand and thumb joint pain might be a sign of osteoarthritis. Resting your knee, putting ice on the swelling area, and moving your hand slowly are the best home remedies for it. If nothing changes, you should consult an orthopedist.

iam 39 years old I have an lateral meniscus horizontal tear surgery in March 15 2024 and I have two times synovitis problem with in 6 months so I want to know the reason why iam facing synovitis
Male | 39
You have encountered synovitis after your meniscus surgery. Synovitis is the condition where the lining of the joint gets swollen and hurtful. Surgery can cause this because of inflammation or irritation of the joint. Synovitis can be managed with rest, ice, and anti-inflammatory medications which are the best methods. If the issue does not go away, visit your orthopedic specialist for more examination and treatment alternatives.

Functional infection pain swelling thum and hand
Female | 40
Dealing with throbbing and swelling in your thumb and hand can come about due to numerous reasons such as over, injury, or even inflammatory disease. Symptoms like those are usually pain, difficulties in carrying out your daily tasks, and visible swelling. One way to relax painful symptoms may be to give time to the painful area, cool it with ice, and raise the hand above the head to diminish the swelling. Painkillers that are available over the counter can also be consulted. Nevertheless, if the indications continue to be present or get worse, it is vital to ask for an orthopedist's advice.

I am 30 year's old male and have back pain for last 1 month i already used pain relief medicine and other orthopedic medicine ointment cream couple of weeks but haven't got any relief what should i do
Male | 30
It appears that you have been having long-term discomfort, which may come from the muscles being strained, bad posture, or in some cases unwelcome health issues. If non-prescription cures don't work, I advise participating in modified bounding and muscle exercises that aid in your back's recovery. Relaxing with the help of warm or cool packs has also proven to be an effective method of pain reduction. Nevertheless, it is essential to see an orthopedist for a thorough examination.

Female | 48
Your mother appears to be suffering from arthritis for a long time. The pain in her arm may be caused by joint inflammation which indicates that it’s a nerve problem if she experiences discomfort in the stomach too. When people have arthritis, sometimes they undergo a situation where nerves get affected hence feeling pain in different body parts apart from those with affected joints. To minimize the pain she is going through she should do gentle exercises, use warm towels if possible, and get drugs prescribed by a physician.

Male | 41
After 4 months of Achilles tendon surgery, you can return to physical activities only with the consent of your orthopedic surgeon. You might have to begin with mild exercises and slowly intensify your exercise. Wear appropriate shoes, and always warm up before the exercise. A physiotherapist should be consulted for a smooth and successful recovery.

For a month, your forearm hurt. This is likely from doing too many motions. Using muscles too much, like repeating movements. Or maybe straining your arm. It's possible you had an injury or inflammation. Rest your arm. Put ice on it. Take pain medication. But if it doesn't stop hurting, see an orthopedist. Maybe there is an infection in your foot. When your skin is pierced, bacteria may enter and cause swelling. The symptoms you are having such as feeling sick to your stomach (nausea), throwing up, being unable to have a bowel movement (constipation), headache, and having a high temperature could be due to the infection moving around. Quick treatment with antibiotics and other drugs from a doctor is needed so that you can get well soon.

I have a wound on my knee. Two days ago i fall in the road
Female | 22
I think you got a scratch on your knee when you fell. It's okay to have pain, redness, and swelling around your wound. This is because the fall has injured your skin. The solution is to gently clean the wound using soap and water, apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover it with an adhesive bandage. Always change the dressing daily until it heals. Opening up is necessary if the pain worsens or you notice any infections with symptoms like pus, light redness, or warmth.

I am dealing with pain, soreness, and stiffness in both my knees mostly in the inside portion after wearing orthotics for a week. I do not have swelling and I think I have full stability. Could I have caused structural damage? Or do I just need a few days of rest now that I removed the orthotics?
Male | 25
Orthotics can affect your knees. Pain, soreness, or stiffness inside your knees without swelling might indicate that orthotics are altering knee movement. It’s unlikely to cause structural damage, but giving your knees a rest can help. If pain persists, consult an orthopedist.

The cost of lengthening surgery for the femur typically ranges from $20,000 to $100,000, depending on various factors such as the surgical technique used and the facility. When considering both the femur and fibula, expenses could be higher. Performing surgeries in these areas simultaneously is possible, which may save time and reduce recovery periods. I feel like dizzy and stiff back in the early morning. Please suggest a solution for this??
Male | 23
There are many reasons why you might wake up feeling dizzy and with a sore back. It might be that you did not drink enough water before going to bed, or that you slept in an awkward position which caused your back to become stiff. To combat this, try drinking some fluids before falling asleep and refrain from shifting your weight onto alternate sides during the night. Moreover stretching gently upon waking up can help loosen any tight muscles. If none of these solutions work then it would probably be wise to consult a orthopedist.

I am trying to find the starting point to getting my knees replaced
Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Types of knee replacement surgery Simultaneous bilateral knee replacement - When both knees are replaced at the same time. The primary advantage of a procedure is that there is only one hospital stay and one rehabilitation period to heal both knees. But rehabilitation may be slower. Also these patients may need assistance at home also. Generalized fitness is important here. Staged bilateral knee replacement- Each knee is replaced at a different time. These surgeries are done a few months apart. This staged approach helps one knee to recover before the second surgery. The main advantage of a this procedure is the reduced risk of complications and also requires a shorter hospital stay. However, since this procedure requires two surgeries, the overall rehabilitation period can be longer. Either surgery may involve any combination of total knee replacement or partial knee replacement. The risks associated with this surgery: infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Hope our answer helps you.
