Constantly feeling bloated and making frequent bathroom trips can be highly frustrating. These annoying issues stem from your diet or certain health conditions. Common culprits include gulping food too quickly, swallowing excess air, consuming gas-forming foods, or suffering from digestive disorders. Slowing down during meals, avoiding carbonated beverages, and staying hydrated might provide relief.

Iam suffering from typhoid last 20 days
Male | 24
Typhoid is an infection caused by the bacteria Salmonella. It contains such common symptoms as a high fever, stomach ache, headache, and becoming extremely weak. Your body can combat the bacteria by drinking a lot of fluids and taking antibiotics. Also, get enough rest, as this will help your body heal.

I have a sudden pains near the belly button and right lower corner of the abdomen which is sharp and it comes suddenly in the evening .
Female | 18
Your symptoms suggest appendicitis - an inflamed appendix. Pain starts sharply near the navel, then shifts to the lower right abdomen. Fever, nausea, vomiting often occur too. Act quickly! Appendicitis needs urgent hospital treatment, maybe surgery. Delaying risks major complications. Head to the ER without delay if these signs match your condition.

Sharp Pain under rib cage, pain comes and go, sometimes immobilized, pain goes away if pressure is applied
Male | 35
A sudden burning pain in the front that appears and disappears, grows very bad, but is relieved by slight pressure can be caused by a disorder called costochondritis. It is the situation when the cartilage inflaming that attaches the ribs to the chest bone happens. Resting, applying heat or ice, and taking over-the-counter pain medication can also be tried. If you are still in pain then you need to seek advice from an orthopedist.

Male | 21
This can happen when you aren’t drinking enough water, or maybe even because of certain foods you eat. Throughout the day, try to drink more water and avoid new food items that you don’t typically consume. If it doesn’t seem to improve after a few days, then visit a gastroenterologist.

I am a 17 year old female and i have been experiencing a ticker in the back of my throat for the last few days that is making me have “coughing attacks” and make me feel nauseous. I started getting pains in my chest today aswell and i was wondering what this was
Female | 17
You may have acid reflux. This is when the stomach contents come back up into your throat and cause a burning sensation as well as coughing. It may also make you feel sick to your stomach or give you chest pains. You should avoid eating large meals, such as spicy or fatty foods. Moreover, you shouldn’t lie down immediately after eating. Drinking lots of water helps too. If none of these work, visit a gastroenterologist.

I am 19 years old … I see blood in my stool … started 2020 I took enterogermina 2020,then December 2021 took tinizol and doxycycline 2021 and I was given Clarthrime and Bonso pile tablet January 2024 but a doctor changed it and told me to take ciprotab instead but today I happened to see blood again I am constipated , I take milk a lot , and I always have bad cramps so I take ibuprofen every month but not more than 2 a month
Female | 19
I recommend seeking medical attention from a gastroenterologist to properly evaluate the cause of the bleeding and develop a treatment plan. Not recommended to self-treat without consulting a doctor, as this can lead to antibiotic resistance and may not address the issue. Additionally taking ibuprofen frequently for menstrual cramps can also lead to gastrointestinal problems.

Hello, i did some blood work yesterday, all other parameters came normal but some are out of range my ALT is 85,AST 62 BUN 4.9, i have anxiety issue since long, and some mild gas, should i worry about this?
Female | 29
A little high on the ALT and AST while low on the BUN could mean liver or kidney trouble. Although anxiety and gas may not specifically connect the two, they could exacerbate the symptoms. It is important to speak with a gastroenterologist for a clearer understanding, and the way forward for your health.

Female | 64
You would want to consult a general physician or a primary care doctor for the symptoms you mentioned. They'll conduct an initial assessment, ask about your medical history, perform a physical examination, and may order some tests if necessary to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms.
Based on their evaluation, the primary care doctor may refer you to a gastroenterologist if they suspect a specific gastrointestinal condition or if further specialized care is required.

I am diabetic since 10 years, recently my sugar level got high and i visited doctor he changed my medicine, and suggested me to change diet and morning walk which i did, this morning i came from morning walk had my breakfast but i vommited,
Female | 57
You are overwhelmed and things are running out of fuel for you after your morning walk and breakfast. The causes of fever infection can be a variety of things, such as being sick to the stomach, eating poisoned food, or the blood sugar level being high. This may be due to your high sugar levels lately. Ensure that you will be alright drinking water and hydrating yourself and that eating smaller lighter meals is the right idea. If vomiting persists, it is better to contact your doctor for more instructions.

I have had dizziness for a year now. It only seems to be at night when I am laying down and when I can't get all of my poo out. I get a bit constipated every period and this effects my head every month.
Female | 20
You might have vasovagal syncope. This occurs when there is a rapid drop in blood pressure and heart rate, which causes fainting. Additionally, being constipated can aggravate this condition as it compresses your nerves. To alleviate it, make sure to drink more water, eat foods rich in fiber and consult with a gastroenterologist for further assessment and treatment options.

Sir I have constipation and sound comes from my intestine and I have regular neck pain and gastric issue
Male | 34
Feeling stopped up where poop won't come out easily is called constipation. That gurgling noise is likely gas traveling in your intestines. Neck pain and stomach troubles sometimes happen due to stress or eating unhealthy foods. Drinking lots of water, eating fresh produce, and moving around can help you poop better. To ease neck pain, try relaxing. Cutting greasy, spicy foods may relieve stomach issues.

Hi sir I am Amresh Jha 25 years old I am unable to weight gain I took cancellation a gestroloist he did endoscopy fir celic I have no symptoms but doctor confirm celiac deses endoscopy biopsy final report is atrophic mucosa i want to know what's means atrophic mucosa and I have a doubt I eat gutkha also it's a gluten issue or gutkha also effect small instentine
Male | 25
The "atrophic mucosa" means the lining of your gut is unhealthy. Eating gutkha can hurt your gut, but it does not relate to gluten. With celiac disease, you may have diarrhea, weight loss, and feel tired. The fix is following a strict no-gluten diet. This means avoiding foods with wheat, barley, and rye. By doing this, your gut can heal up and you will feel better overall.

Female | 30
You have been having a sense of imbalance for the last 4 to 5 days and vomiting at the slightest of food intake. These can be attributed to low blood pressure. When blood pressure reduces it is possible for you to feel dizzy and the sensation of sickness to be experienced. To help, consider drinking more water and eating small meals throughout the day.

I can't eat because of side effects of previous medicine
Male | 23
Feeling queasy after taking medicine can be tough. Meds sometimes cause side effects like no appetite, nausea, or tummy ache. They can bother your stomach lining. Eat tiny bland meals and pause between bites. Ginger tea may help calm things too. If worried about meds, let your doctor know. They can guide what's best.

The patient is 62 years old male. He has diabetes since 15 years and has CKD stage 4 since 1.5 years. His creatinine is 3.2 mg/dl. He is weak and unable to walk, so he remains in bed. He has frequent complaints of stomach ache, gas, cramps and sometimes loose motion too. He takes Rabeprazole or aciloc when required. Can you help with this problem?
Male | 62
Your diabetes and CKD are likely causing your stomach ache, gas, cramps, and loose motions. These digestive issues can occur if your blood sugar levels and kidney disease are not well controlled. It's important to properly manage your diabetes and CKD to prevent worsening stomach problems. Eating smaller, frequent meals, drinking enough water, and adding fiber-rich foods can help. Be sure to talk to your gastroenterologist for a proper evaluation and management of these symptoms.

Female | 21
Your symptoms of vomiting, pain around the belly button, trapped burps, and yellowness may be related to a condition called gastritis. Gastritis is often caused by excessive stomach acid or a bacterial infection and can lead to these symptoms. Eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy foods, and taking antacids can help relieve the discomfort. If your symptoms continue, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment.
