Hi I'm 20 years old female and I have insomnia and GAD since childhood and even I have backache since 5 years continuesly . I have used pain relief medicine for couple of days but haven't got any relief . What should I do now?
Female | 20
Lack of sleep can worsen anxiety and anxiety can make sleeplessness more terrible. The backache could be a manifestation of stress or a physical one. The treatment of these issues may include a healthcare professional who can explore different options such as therapy, relaxation techniques, or physical therapy. Overall, these problems must be addressed to better your health.

It seems that you may be going through a type of depersonalization. That means that a person can observe life like an outside spectator from the viewpoint of seeing himself/herself acting. It can be associated with anxiety, stress, and other mental health issues as well. It is highly advised to communicate with someone you trust or a counselor about how you feel. They will be able to provide you with coping mechanisms. Besides, resting well, eating properly, and take a couple of breaths or practising mindfulness can also be beneficial to keep your mind at peace.

I do not know why am I unable to sleep at nights
Female | 27
Insomnia causes difficulty sleeping. Stress, worries, caffeine late in the day could disturb your rest. Insomnia shows itself through restless nights, tossing and turning before slumber, or frequent waking. Develop a calming routine before hitting the sheets. Avoid those bright screens too.

Having anxiety attacks , nervousness, high bp but can't find the reason of it
Male | 23
The difficult and uncomfortable periods of nervousness, high anxiety attacks, and hypertension can be handled. The body has been known to react this way when it is under stress or preoccupied with some thoughts. It's normal to feel that way, but if it's happening a lot, it's a good idea to talk to a psychiatrist. Breathing slowly and practicing relaxation techniques such as yoga may assist in quieting your mind.

Male | 19
Daxid 50 mg could influence sexual hormones in certain individuals. They may experience symptoms such as changes in libido or trouble getting aroused. This could be because some drugs interfere with the body’s hormone levels. If you notice these changes, discuss them with your doctor. They can find a remedy for this issue or change your medication if necessary. Pay attention to how you feel and if anything seems wrong, don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.

I feel like something is wrong with me , my mind wanders a lot and when it wanders i feel like i need to move and run and i do it unconsciously its like you run and jump in a dancing kind of way with your head leaning to oneside , can you tell me whats wrong ?
Female | 19
You may have a condition called restless legs syndrome (RLS). RLS sometimes makes you feel your body is moving and dancing with no control, especially when you daydream. Such an issue could arise, and the suer will feel that their legs or other body parts should always be in motion. RLS can happen if you have a low iron level issue, but it can be one of the symptoms of other medical conditions, so it is advisable to see a psychiatrist to get the correct diagnosis and prescription.

The first severe outburst occurred in August 1st week. During these episodes, he becomes violent, attacking those closest to him, including his parents and brother. His speech is characterized by accusations of being "bad" and claims of conspiracy against him. After the outbursts, he displays remorseful behavior, crying and showing guilt. Physical attacks are severe and pose a risk of harm to himself or others. He also exhibits unusual behaviors such as spitting on objects and people, and attempting to lick them. Patient's history reveals: * Early childhood difficulties with keeping up in school * Competition with younger brother (2 years his junior) * Possible neglect or feeling neglected by parents due to favoritism towards the younger sibling * Lack of friends at school * Issues with making eye contact, paying attention, and lack of confidence Before the first outburst, he showed signs of: * Avoiding eye contact * Difficulty paying attention * Lack of confidence in performing or speaking when prompted The patient is currently under neurologist care after the initial outburst. This is a tough situation with the 14-year-old child you're dealing with. It appears he is suffering from aggressive behavior, outbursts, and a lack of control over his emotions. These symptoms can be caused by various reasons, including emotional distress, underlying mental health issues, or neurological conditions. As he is already seeing a neurologist, it is crucial to maintain communication with the healthcare team to assess and treat the condition properly. Medications may be given to him to help regulate his mood and behavior.

Hello i had a panic attack yesterday and my hands and feet were going numb also my mouth so i went to the ER they did 2 syringes in my stomach of Aqua then they did one behind of diazepam i am a regular smoker and i wanted to smoke could i? If i cant should i buy a no nicotine pack?
Female | 16
The numbness of hands, feet, and mouth is the result of decreased blood flow in panic attacks. The effect of smoking on the body can make people suffer from panic attacks. Given the fact that you were prescribed diazepam at the ER, smoking might hurt it. Stay away from smoking as it is better for you. If you are in bad shape and have to, you can try a no-nicotine pack.

I have a child who is 10 years of age. I had depression when she was born and still have even today. So I went to notice that my child is also having it and it makes me feel like I have failed her so bad. She would just cry in everything and have a very short temper, that it sometimes hard for her to concentrate. Please I want to help her before it is too late, what is the first step that I can do.is there any over the counter medication that I can get for her
Female | 10
If your kids are crying easily, getting mad quickly, and can’t pay attention, they might have something called “childhood depression.” You did not cause this. It is nobody’s fault. One thing I would do is talk with a therapist/psychiatrist. There might be other ways doctors can think of to help your child and family.

I’m taking Effexor and am having troubles sexually and skip my doses 2-3 days in advance but have nausea, dizziness and diarrhea. Is there a way to combat that without changing meds or adding anything? Can I use anti diarrhea pills or something?
Male | 37
If Effexor is missed, some withdrawal symptoms can set in like nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea. To mitigate these issues, the drug should be taken consistently. Even though over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medication can provide short-term relief, the best way to deal with the problem is by adhering to the prescription. If you are still worried, it’s advisable to seek further advice from a psychiatrist.
