Your left hand pain could be linked to a Vitamin D deficiency, as doctors suggest. Common symptoms of this deficiency include body pain, muscle weakness, and bone pain. Vitamin D helps keep our bones strong, and when we don’t have enough, we can feel pain in our muscles and bones. To boost your Vitamin D levels, spend some time in sunlight or take a Vitamin D supplement as advised by your doctor.

I’m curious how much this usually cost, I have pre existing sprain or slight tears as well. That I’m sure this or stem cells else where could fix. I’m just looking for a ball park range since insurance won’t convert it
Male | 31
It is difficult to estimate the cost without knowing the severity of your injury and the treatment required. You can also visit hospitals that provide stem cell therapy and discuss your options with the specialists and getting a detailed cost breakdown, insurance coverage before proceeding with any treatment.

Male | 45
At 5 months after knee replacement surgery, patients can expect to have significantly reduced pain and improved mobility compared to the pre-surgical state. However, complete recovery may take up to a year or more. Regular physical therapy, exercises, and follow-up appointments with the doctor are necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

I am a 20 year old young man for about three years when I walk too much my ankle gets watery and even it swells up so much that I have trouble walking what can I do?
Male | 20
It’s a medical problem called ankle edema that you seem to be suffering from. If your ankle begins to swell and becomes watery after walking for too long, it is likely to be a symptom of poor blood circulation or damage to the tissues around your ankle. This phenomenon can be the result of various factors like trauma, overweight, or even particular diseases. To minimize the swelling and pain, it is important to rest your ankle, lift it, put ice on it, and use suitable footwear. Swelling that persists should be checked by an orthopedist.

Left thumb facture due to accident
Male | 30
Your left thumb is hurt. You feel pain, and swelling, it's bruised, and you can't move it well. A fall or hit caused your thumb to break. Don't use your thumb. Put ice on it to reduce the swelling. See an orthopedist for an X-ray. They'll check how bad the fracture is. The doctor may put a splint or cast on your thumb to help it heal correctly.

Arthritis affects the joints, causing pain, stiffness, and swelling. While these symptoms can improve with treatment, they often come back. For someone living with arthritis for 14 years, proper management is important. This includes medications, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Regular check-ups with healthcare providers help monitor progress and adjust treatment. Although arthritis doesn’t go away completely, it can be well-managed over time.

Feeling heavy in the upper part of my shoulder blade, is this an indication of stroke?
Female | 41
Heaviness around your upper shoulder blade typically doesn't indicate a stroke occurring. Stroke symptoms manifest suddenly: numbness or weakness affecting one side, facial drooping, speech difficulties, trouble walking. Confusion may also arise. If experiencing such symptoms, visit an orthopedist.

If the leg pain is so severe that affects walking then get it checked by an orthopedist as it could indicate a serious medical condition. Possible causes can be muscle strain, deep vein thrombosis, or nerve problems.

I have a problem on my ribs
Male | 18
From what you are saying, you might have problems with your ribs. This can result from a fall, a strong impact, or even too much coughing. Symptoms include pain in the area when you breathe or move, tenderness, and maybe swelling too. One way of helping is by, of course, rest. Stay away from the activities that you do, which cause more pain. Ice may affect swelling too. Also, pain meds provide some relief. See an orthopedist if the pain continues.

Iam 21 years old male backache for 2 months and some health issues that I don't understand what should I do?
Male | 21
Back injury's roots can be different, due to incorrect body posture, overworked muscles, or stress. Any other signs you may have, including numbness or tingling in your legs, are equally important to listen to. Attempting to correct your posture, and undertake light stretching exercises, and hot or cold packs may also be beneficial for pain relief. When the pain does not diminish, it is advisable to consult an orthopedist for a second opinion and treatment.

Hi my knees keep cracking all the time when I move them
Male | 42
Knees cracking when you move them is usually due to the movement of gas bubbles in the joint fluid or the rubbing of soft tissues over bones. If there's no pain or swelling, it's generally harmless. However, if you're experiencing discomfort, it's best to consult an orthopedic doctor to rule out any underlying issues.

I am having a serious problem on my knee and day by day I am losing control of my leg. And now barely I can even walk, please tell me what should i do to get help from your knee specialist??
As per my understanding, you are experiencing discomfort in your waist & knee and gradual decreased sensation in your lower limbs, along with difficulty in walking as well. There are several causes which can lead to this kind of presentation. Causes generally are classified into spinal causes, traumatic causes or neuromuscular causes etc. Eg: slip disc, multiple sclerosis pinched nerve syndrome, peripheral neuropathy and many more. Treatment generally will be physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medication if required surgery but if there is weakness, difficulty in walking, or numbness, then it's a medical emergency. So kindly consult an orthopedic and a neurologist to rule out what exactly is the pathology behind your symptoms and get treated accordingly.
