Acupuncture offers relief from chronic heel spurs and has proven record in treating calcaneal spur.
Extra bone tissue known as heel spurs which develop due to over stress of the foot can cause pain in back of heel. Electro Acupuncture points, Moxibustion, Acupressure and seed therapy have shown great relief in heel pain and inflammation. Also correction in the enlargement of heel bone is observed as the acupuncture treatment is taken on regular basis. I.e. 2-3 sessions weekly continued for a period of 1-2 months.

I had an accident 2020 December and till date the bone isn’t joining Why is it not healing
Male | 28
Since the accident in December 2020, you might still have a bone to heal and this could be due to the fact that other conditions may cause it such as the deficiency of blood supply to the affected area, the presence of low calcium, or infection. It is crucial to discuss an orthopedic surgeon.

Now pain killer tablets don't relief effectively. Its rehmotoid arthritis disease,I think. How it should be cured by medicine.Name plz?
Female | 45
It sounds like you're experiencing persistent discomfort in your knee and finger joints, which can indeed be distressing. Given your blood results, it's important to consider various conditions, including inflammatory arthritis. While your current pain relief isn’t effective, medication options such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) may be beneficial. Additionally, lifestyle modifications and physical therapy can provide support. I strongly encourage you to consult an orthopedist for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment plan.

Female | 24
You likely have a muscle strain on your back's right side. It's causing chest pain. Muscle strains happen when you move stressfully. You'll feel pain while moving. Rest up. Ice the area. Take over-the-counter pain meds if needed. Try gentle stretches. Avoid activities worsening the pain. If it doesn't improve or worsens, see an orthopedist

I am a 50 year old diabetic with rheumatoid arthritis. I have had a numb feeling that also feels like a cramp causing severe pain down my right side, starting at the base of my spine, down the back of my right leg, all the way down to my foot. Help please.
Female | 50
Your symptoms are quite similar to those of sciatica. Sciatica pains are a form of irritation of the sciatic nerve, which is often responsible for the feeling. Physical therapy or even surgery may be necessary. It's important to consult a specialist, like a rheumatologist or orthopedic doctor, for proper diagnosis and treatment guidance tailored to your condition.

Findings: fir oussama The conus is normal. There is right partial sacralization of L5. At L4-L5, there is moderate left and mild right side facet joint disease with thickened ligamenta flava associated with mild loss of disc signal and with a posterior disc bulge lateralized to the left causing moderate compression of the left L.5 root. The disc extends mildly into the left foramen contributing to mild narrowing of the left foramen without clear compression of the left L4 root. At L3-L4, there is mild bilateral facet joint disease without impingement. The marrow shows no suspicious signal. No central canal stenosis. The foramina are normal. No spondylolysis or spondylolisthesis. The paraspinal soft tissues are normal.
Male | 48
It appears that you have some changes in your lower back, particularly at the L4-L5 level, which may cause symptoms like pain or discomfort in your legs. This could stem from wear and tear or injury affecting the facet joints and discs. While your condition shows some mild issues, it's reassuring that there's no severe nerve compression or significant canal narrowing. I recommend discussing these findings with your orthopedist, who can offer personalized advice and potential treatments to help you manage any symptoms effectively.

Ive been having severe neck and shoulder pain radiating down my leg on my left side for a couple weeks now. Nothing has been able to relieve the pain. Im having trouble walking and sitting down or rolling over while i sleep. I have no knowledge of hurting myself or straining anything.
Female | 28
You're possibly dealing with sciatica. That occurs when a nerve gets pinched in your lower back area. Neck and shoulder discomfort could stem from muscle tension or strain. Gentle stretches, warm baths, and OTC pain meds may provide relief. However, if the pain lingers, see an orthopedist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Male | 35
Keep the wound clean and monitor for any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or increased pain. You did well by cleaning the wound and applying Betadine. It's good practice to carry a small first aid kit with plasters and antiseptics for such situations. If you notice any signs of infection or concerned, it's best to consult an orthopedic specialist to ensure proper healing and care.

Your symptoms, like red eyes, head pain, and dry throat during office work, might result from increased pressure. Poor posture or restricted blood flow could contribute. Improve your posture, take breaks, and hydrate properly. If issues persist, consult a doctor.

Male | 24
You might suffer from a disease called sciatica. Sciatica is a condition that arises when something is pressing on the nerves that extend from the lower back to both legs. As a result, severe pain, numbness, and walking difficulties are the possible consequences. It is most often associated with a herniated disc in the spine. Routine physical activities, stretching, and pain relief medications can assist. Besides pointing out the specific exercises that would help you relieve pressure on the nerves, you should also seek out an orthopedist.

You hit your hand and now there's a blueish-red spot. That's normal after being punched. The balm helped make it hurt less, which is good. It feeling sore when you touch it is normal too. But keep watching it. You can ice it briefly if needed. It'll get better soon.

Left hand pain till morning
Male | 33
Left-hand discomfort can arise from various sources, such as muscle strain, repetitive motion, or even underlying conditions like arthritis or nerve compression. Symptoms may include aching, stiffness, or numbness. To alleviate this, consider resting the hand, applying ice, and taking over-the-counter pain relief as needed. Additionally, gentle stretching exercises can promote circulation and flexibility. However, if the sensation persists or worsens, seeking advice from a orthopedist is essential. They can offer a thorough assessment and personalized treatment options to ensure your well-being.

Hi, I'm taking 1.5ml of Testosterone Ethanate 300mg/ml once per week but I'm due to get a cortisone injection in my hand for trigger finger in 2 weeks time. Will this be ok to have whilst I'm taking this?
Male | 40
Testosterone Ethanate (T.E.) is a hormone, while cortisone is a medication used to reduce inflammation. Getting a cortisone injection for the trigger finger shouldn't be an issue while on T.E., as they work differently in the body. However, always inform your orthopedist about all medications you're taking. Trigger finger occurs due to tendon inflammation, causing fingers to get stuck in a bent position. A corticosteroid injection can reduce the inflammation and relieve symptoms.

Hand problem my elbow is gone to fracture
Male | 25
Your elbow might be broken. When the elbow is broken, you can feel pain, see swelling, and can’t move your arm easily. Fractures may occur by falling or putting too much pressure on the joint while doing some activities. A cast or sling may be required for your elbow to heal, but sometimes an operation is necessary too. Don't forget to follow up with an orthopedist.
