Leg-lengthening surgery is a delicate and dangerous operation that has to be undertaken by experienced specialist orthopedic surgeons. It will be better to avoid “cheap” clinics for this surgery that is not about saving money at all costs, but rather ensuring the highest level of care and expertise.

I'm a 37 year old male suffering with post-axial polydactyly. My last two bones on my right hand are fused and my muscles are thin. And I have is medicaid. So what can I do to treat it affordably?
Male | 37
I would advise consulting with an orthopedic surgeon focusing on hand surgery. Delaying the care seeking should be avoided and even more so when Medicaid can reimburse treatment costs.

My legs give out. Sometimes I can't even get up when they get out.
Male | 14
Your legs may feel weak. There are many possible reasons for this, including lack of exercise, poor diet and nutrition, or low levels of certain vitamins. Try eating well-balanced meals each day and getting regular physical activity. Additionally, don’t forget to drink plenty of water. If these suggestions do not help, then it would be wise to consult with an orthopedist so that potential underlying causes can be eliminated.

Sir have pain in left knee It was showing as acl sprain and Hyper Lesion on pcl then it mention as gamglion
Female | Ranganayagi
Your symptoms – pain, an ACL sprain – suggest one thing: there’s been some injury there. Hyperextension of the PCL or even just having a ganglion cyst could also cause trouble with movement and make things uncomfortable in general. But don’t worry – rest up that joint, apply some ice on it, and listen to whatever the doctor says needs doing.

I got a bruised toe I can barely lift it, it hurts if I try to lift it I was wondering if it's broken
Female | 32
You may have a broken toe. Dropping something heavy on the toe or stubbing it hard can cause a broken toe. Symptoms of a sprained toe include pain, bruising, and difficulty moving the toe. To be sure, you should get an X-ray at a clinic or hospital. Icing, resting, and keeping the toe safe from injury will give relief to the pain.

I am feeling mild pain in my waist to knee vein while standing position since 4 days. no problem in sitting, walking or running. in first day i felt numbing sense too. i have worry about vericose vein.
Male | 31
Some of your symptoms might be related to varicose veins, which are enlarged veins that can vary in color and shape. They often cause discomfort and dull pain. Prolonged standing can worsen this pain. The numbing sensation you felt might be due to insufficient blood flow through the veins. To improve circulation, try elevating your legs when lying down and wearing compression stockings. Additionally, regular exercise and avoiding excessive sleep can help. Keep an eye on your symptoms, and if the pain worsens or becomes severe, visit an orthopedist.

Male | anvesh
It appears you've been diagnosed with low bone density and vitamin D deficiency, which can lead to bone pain, weak muscles, and fractures. A diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, including dairy products, leafy greens, and sunlight exposure, is crucial for bone health. Your doctor may recommend vitamin D supplements to improve your calcium levels. Additionally, maintaining a nutritious diet and engaging in exercises like running and strength training prescribed by your orthopedic doctor can help maintain bone strength and overall health.

You have patellofemoral pain syndrome. This condition causes pain around or under the knee cap, which can spread to the side of the knee. It's often due to overuse, weak muscles, or improper knee-cap positioning. Exercises to strengthen leg muscles and supportive sports shoes can help. Mild Pain at the left thigh what's the best remedy
Male | 37
Muscle strain or overuse might cause this. Long periods of sitting or standing could also be the reason. Rest your leg, use a warm compress, gently massage the area - these may help ease discomfort. If pain persists or worsens, avoid activities aggravating it, give your leg rest. Stay hydrated, do gentle stretches. But if pain lingers after a few days, consult an orthopedist for proper treatment.

I have been having pain below my left knee cap where the patella tendon is and I am thinking I have jumper knee. I work on Concrete floor all day. I have been having thing pain for a week now.
Male | 21
You may be dealing with patellar tendonitis - or “jumper’s knee”. This is typically caused by the tendon below your kneecap becoming inflamed due to activities such as standing all day on hard surfaces. Common signs include pain beneath the kneecap that worsens when moving. The upside is that taking some time off, using ice packs, and doing some light stretching exercises can help relieve discomfort. If the pain persists, visit an orthopedist.

Hi...I am 34 year Male & im having severe pain in my left leg hip joints & so I am unable to walk & sit. 3 years ago same problem occurred that time I consulted doctor & taken phisotherapy & tablets & now again the problem has started & this time I have done X ray,MRI & CT scan of Hip joint & observed following remark "diffuse sclerosis is seen in the left ileum in the peri articular region of left SI Joint mostly post traumatic micro trabacular fractures.small subchondral pit is seen along the ilial surface of left SI Joint... An altered marrow signal is seen in the per articular region of left SI Joint suggestive of marrow en Edema. Mild effusion is seen in the both hip joints" But I have not met any accident & all then how the mild facture is observed?? & What treatment should be taken to cure this disease
Male | 34
A few results of the tests show the deterioration of bone and joint conditions. Sometimes, despite not being involved in any accident, such fractures can develop, because of a lot of strain that is put on the joint over time. Due to this, the loosening of the joints may cause you pain and a problem in walking and sitting. Treatments like physical therapy, painkillers, and sometimes injections aid in the management of the symptoms. Visit an Orthopedist for proper guidance.
