Left Palmar Fascia Pain: Causes and Relief
Why is it paining near left palmar fascia
Joint Replacement Surgeon
Answered on 15th Oct '24
If your left palm hurts, it could be due to overuse, like gripping too hard. This can irritate or injure the tissue in your palm. Rest your hand, apply ice, and do gentle stretches. If the pain doesn't go away, it's best to see an orthopedist for further help.

I have a cousin. He has a condition that no doctor has been able to detect, all the tests he has done so far says he's completely fine, but he doesn't look that way since he has an abnormally big arm. The arm has an irregular shape. It's like clump of fats starting from his shoulder (which is also abnormally big) to his elbow. It stops there. I did hear that at one time it reduced, but now it's growing bigger. It's not that the arm is just big, it is abnormal and won't stop growing.
Male | 16
Your cousin has developed lipoma, which is a harmless tumor made of fat cells. This may lead to the development of a bulging out of some parts of the body, for example, the arm. Generally, lipomas do not bring any complications but may sometimes increase in size with time. If the lipoma is bothering you or affecting your movement, surgery may be a way to get rid of it. It is ideal to seek the advice of an orthopedist for exact diagnosis and treatment.

As a medical expert, I suggest that you go to an orthopedist to examine your knee and leg. It is not unusual fat this age group to be hit by joint wear and tear. A orthopedic doctor will diagnose the actual reason for the pain, and will propose the most appropriate treatment, which may range from medications, physical therapy and surgery if needed.

Index finger ki upar pain ho raha hai
Female | 21
Suppose your index finger experienced pain at the top, several explanations are possible: excessive typing or from activities like tossing a frisbee. At times, such pain might be due to an infection or injury. Give your finger rest and steer clear of the activities causing the pain to worsen. The application of ice packs can significantly reduce swelling and aches as well. If the pain doesn't get better or even becomes sharper, consult with an orthopedist.

I'm an 18 year old female, has an old unattended back injury from 10 years ago hurts from time to time recently has been feeling some chest pains and difficulty in breathing what could it be?
Female | 18
Judging from the information that you have given, your past back injury and these new symptoms could be linked. Often old injuries can be a cause of problems later. The chest pain and breathing problems may indeed be caused by your spine affecting the nerves and muscles in that part of your body. An orthopedist needs to check everything to make sure you are ok and that you feel better.

How to increas disk space between L5 and S1
Female | 21
There is lesser space between the L5 and S1 vertebrae which contributes to back pain and leg pain. This is mainly due to aging or a slipped disc. You can create more room by strengthening your core muscles that support the spine. Additionally, proper posture and regular physical activity are important in relieving the pressure on these vertebrae. You can also visit an orthopedist for further treatment.

Hi my knees keep cracking all the time when I move them
Male | 42
Knees cracking when you move them is usually due to the movement of gas bubbles in the joint fluid or the rubbing of soft tissues over bones. If there's no pain or swelling, it's generally harmless. However, if you're experiencing discomfort, it's best to consult an orthopedic doctor to rule out any underlying issues.

Most probably the problem you’re having is as a result of a broken elbow at the age of ten years old. This can cause the joint to be deformed hence uncomfortable. You should therefore see an orthopedic surgeon who will examine your situation and give a suitable prescription for treatment. Depending on how serious the deformity, they can propose some physiotherapy exercises or even surgery.

I've been getting pain in my sacrum since two days. It's severe pain and a slight swelling in the area.

Swelling may signal inflammation, caused by injury, poor posture, or prolonged sitting. Try gentle stretches, ice, or over-the-counter pain meds. But if pain persists or worsens, see a dermatologist. They'll examine you and advise next steps.

Shoulder pain , and less movement while lifting the shoulder
Female | 48
Lifting your arm but feeling shoulder pain isn't great. Sometimes it results from tearing or overstretching a muscle. Frozen shoulder cases involve shoulder joint stiffness and reduced movement. To relieve the soreness, try gently stretching. However, if discomfort lingers, get evaluated by an orthopedist.
