Answered on 23rd May '24
it is not recommended to treat yourself a shoulder injury like a scapula on your own. It is advised that you see an orthopedic doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment of your case. Self-treatment may cause additional problems and contribute to prevention of the timely recovery. Please talk to an orthopedic specialist for future suggestions and treatment.

Hi, I'm a 22 year old male with back pain, I've been to doctors loads of times for the past 7-8 months but all they been telling me is to take pain killers and exercise, ive had a MRI scan which showed L5-S1 left subarticular disc protrusion and L4-5 facet joint arthropathies is that right for them to keep telling me to exercise?
Male | 22
The MRI scan reveals a disc disorder, along with an ache from the facet joint. Workouts can make your muscles healthier and render them more flexible, which is very helpful when managing the pain. You really must stick to the exercise plan of the physiotherapist without fail to reduce the damage caused. Painkillers are one way of pain relief, but the long-term solution comes from exercise, and maybe a few more such treatments like physical therapy depending on the severity of the problem.

पुरुष | 19
The secretion of spiders is a common phenomenon due to their venom. Ice packs may be used on the injured area to alleviate the swelling. You should keep your hand at a high level. It is necessary to wash the bite area with soap and water to avoid a potential infection. In cases where the swelling continues to grow or other symptoms appear, visit a dermatologist immediately.

My mother is 62 years old and has had recently gone under ORIF for her elbow injury. She has a history of rheumatoid arthritis and also osteoporosis sue to her age. She takes hypertension medicine and controls pre-diabetes with diet. It's been 10 days since her surgery, she has a temporary plaster and we haven't got the x-ray yet. What are her chances of full recovery? Can there be any complications because of arthritis and how can we prevent those?
Female | 62
Considering your mother's age, medical history, and recent elbow procedure, her chances of complete healing are good. However, arthritis can sometimes slow down recovery. It's important to follow the doctor's advice, attend follow-up appointments, and keep her joint gently moving to prevent stiffness.

Sir, my uric acid was high and pain in my leg joint after taking medicine febuxostat 80 mg it comes normal 5.5 but still I have pain in my joint, I am taking zero dol pain killer also. So pls guide
Male | 35
It’s possible that the high uric acid caused damage to your joint before going down. This can lead to lingering pain. You are doing well by taking a febuxostat and a painkiller. Rest the joint, apply ice, and try gentle exercises to strengthen the area. If the pain continues, see an orthopedist for further advice.

Leg swelling after sitting an hrs
Female | 26
Sitting for a while can make your legs swell. This happens when your blood gets stuck in your lower legs. You'll notice puffy, heavy, tight legs. It's caused by bad blood flow. To help with the swelling, get your legs higher than your heart. Move around every hour. Put on compression socks. These things will get your blood moving again and stop the swelling.

I am sorry to say this, but the information provided is not sufficient, with X-ray it is difficult to diagnose osteoporosis.
Please provide detailed history for further diagnosis. You can reach out to me or any doctor from the following page - Rheumatologists in India.

I'm experiencing back pain and left leg pain from 2 months. Symptoms like numbness and sleepy some time. Medicine name which I am using now Repicort, gablin, viton, frendol p, acabel, prelin, rulling.
Male | 16
These signs might be due to a disorder with your lower back, maybe a pinched nerve. The medicines you are taking can help with the pain and nerve symptoms. Nevertheless, it is equally important to think about physical therapy and gentle exercises to make your back stronger and relieve the pressure on the nerve.

Painful thumb nail of leg pak thay evo
Female | 21
You might be having an ingrown toenail. This is when the toenail no longer grows on the skin but rather grows inside it. It can bring on further irritation, discoloration, and the build-up of bodily fluids. Tight shoes, or, on the other hand, improper nail clipping, are two principal causes of this situation. To get relief, you can soak your foot in some warm water and gently try to lift your nail. In cases of intense pain, visit an orthopedist for treatment.

You must follow up with an orthopedist again to determine if further evaluation is necessary. They may recommend further imaging X-rays or MRI, and may suggest certain treatment or surgery depending on the severity of the condition and any associated symptoms.

I am 40 years old male and been complaining from back pain for about almost 20 years in the past years as I’m getting older. It’s been getting worse now I am kind of walking differently and my back is a little bent with a back hump, I did an MRI and I had C4 C5 C6 t1 t2 and L5 S1 mentioned some abnormality in their function. My question is will this be cured through surgery or even give me a better chance living a better life if I do the surgery because back surgery really does scare me a lot.
Male | 40
Your back pain could be due to herniated discs or spinal stenosis. If it is, you might have trouble walking or your posture could change. Having surgery might help take the pressure off of the nerves and make the symptoms better. Surgery can often help improve your quality of life, but it's important to consult an orthopedic surgeon or a spine specialist. They will guide you on the best treatment options and help address your concerns about surgery.

Suffering from spine pain since 2 years.
Female | 45
Incorrect posture, injuries, and medical conditions can cause back pain. This might make it hard for you to move and make you sore or stiff. Exercises aimed at strengthening the muscles in your back and improving your posture help a lot. Also, try sitting or standing properly by using ergonomics to relieve the pain. When these do not work, get advice from an orthopedist who will check it out further and then give treatment options if necessary.
