Answered on 23rd May '24
Crepitus, or the cracking and popping sound that sometimes happens when you move your knee, is usually harmless. I have pain in both hands(3 inches above and below the elbows) and legs(5 inches above and below the knees). Not bone pain as I feel good if I try to restrict my blood flow. I always wear knee and elbow caps for pain relief. As far I remember I'm suffering from this pain for almost 13-14 years. Currently, I'm 20 years, I'm was being told it was due to the growing stage. Earlier I had vitamin D level 7 but now it is 30 but still, the pain is not gone. I have pain almost daily, I will feel lucky I don't have pain that particular day. If I walk for long or stand or play, or do something intense then the intensity of the pain will be unbearable sometimes due to pain I can't even sleep at night. In my test report, I have everything normal. Tests I have done so far are ASO TITRE, Anti-Nuclear, CPR, HLA B profile, Anti-CCP, Phosphorus, CPK, URIC ACID, CALCIUM, GLUCOSE, VITAMIN D AND B-12, THS, CBC, Alkaline Phosphate, Potassium, LDH, Magnesium.

What to expect 5 months after knee replacement?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Regarding what to expect 5 months after knee replacement - If there are no complications then you can work freely as per your wish.
But after knee replacement, some patients do not recover as quickly as others. Consider the following:
- Patients who conducted knee-strengthening activities before surgery have a better chance of recovering faster.
- It may take longer recovery time for those patients who are older, smoke, or have other medical concerns.
Note: Although deviations from the "normal" recovery timeframe is not always expected, but such fluctuations are usually acceptable as long as the patient, doctor, and physical therapist continue to collaborate in the pursuit of a complete recovery.

I am a 20 year old female. I had missed a step and fallen down on ground two days ago (I think I twisted my left ankle but I don't remember clearly). After that I have trouble putting weight on my left leg. It doesn't hurt when I am resting and even movement is possible. But whenever I walk, there is some sort of pull near the left ankle and it hurts whenever I try to put weight on it. I have done ice compresses and elevated it but still it pains whenever I walk. Is it a mild ankle sprain? what should i do next?
